I remember when the PEDS issue first came out Everyone became experts on weight issues. There was an article saying that Pacquiao and Mayweather are very similar in going up in weight but they forgot how Floyd went up quicker. I remember this dumb **** who said he can't gain all that weight and carry power that's why it's very impossible for pac to do it. I asked the mother****er if he had a team of nutritionists and a personal trainer who knows what he's doing and that dumb **** said NO. Then Floyd insisted on the drug testing and every *****s became chemists. Every ***** in here doesn't know how to think outside the box. They see an article that Floyd said and to them that automatically becomes the Truth even though it sounds really pathetic coming from an adult who has a mentality of a child.
I am not saying pac has taken anything. But Why wont he have tests? Like i said in almost any other sport this might happen. And if Pac takes it/them test/s and is clean and beats PBF he will be made for life and be one of the best atg's. But until then people will suspect the worst me thinks. i just dont understand why not? Forget PBF now. If anyone in the public view says to a sportsman of any variety "Take a drug test" and then they will not. They are pointing the finger of suspicion at themselves.
The fact that it was another boxer who requested more testing and not officially sanctioned by NSAC. The PBF vs SSM has extra drug testing because both agreed and is in the contract. Mosley can say no and that would be fine because NSAC has it's own official method of testing. If Pacquiao was told by NSAC to go through the testing then I am pretty sure Pacquiao and Mayweather already fought and the issue is already over but it's not NSAC who wants Pacquiao to go through extra testing. It's not a matter of "why doesn't he just get tested and fight?" Pacquiao still gets tested before and after the fights.
Few points to think about. Just like the justice system you can't have different people go one different rules. The commission doesn't require them so, why would it be an offense if Pac doesn't take them? Additionally, if you understand the asian culture they are extremely superstitious especially the Chinese who are even scared of certain numbers. Pac is scared of getting blood drawn so close to the fight date as he believes it weakens him. That's not the same as getting a tattoo (the process is different and you wouldn't do it on the day of the fight) and I can't understand how some dumb asses can put the two together.
lol he would **** up all those guys aside from the two at 147 which is why hes looking to fight THEM INSTEAD!!!...
Every excuse given by Pacquiao for the reasons not to take a random blood and urine test is another reason to log off if you're a fan of his. ......the latest I believe came on the Jimmy kimmel show...."Mayweather is bigger than me, if I were bigger then he, it would be to my advantage to have a blood test."atschatschatsch Wow, that statement is sure inviting the masses to sign up as Pacquiao fans.:nut I think the better question for the thread starter should be "If you're a Pacquiao fan now, why, after one dumb excuse after another coming out of his mouth to not get legitlly tested?
Well, I'll be honest, I've said this in multiple threads...I haven't been following boxing as long as most on here, in fact Pacquiao is the guy who got me into following boxing pretty thoroughly(I had always been a casual fan before). However, I'm not a fan that came in immediately thinking everything began and ends with Pacquiao. I watch as much as I can and read a lot about past champions, etc. I'm a fan of multiple fighters with different styles because I like seeing the styles clash between competitors with different interpretations of the sport. Having said all that, Pacquiao is good for the sport because he is capable of bringing in casual fans. However, there are so many "fans" that think the sport begins and ends with him(not talking on this forum, just when I talk about boxing in general) and that's not quite a good thing. Also, even though he appears to challenge himself more than most I think it's pretty thinly veiled (as usual with superstars), and with that as NeckBreaknAiken said nobody wants to have a fighter(or team) shoved down their throat.
Other than refusing to take the urine test, and the *******s, would you be a Pacquiao fan? By the way, I don't know if it's fair to hold Pacquiao in a bad light for refusing to take the urine test. It challenges the credibility of all boxing and all boxers since they're not held to the same standard.
That's well said. But that's why this thread was started... to find out from the non-Pac fans their true innermost feelings about why Pac hasn't won them over. Remember, Pac was already hated way before the rise of the *******s, so I don't buy that excuse one bit. So far the reasons I've read just don't make much sense, like the ones that discredit every big victory he's ever had by stating he's fought against guys past their prime (what boxer has ever faced every opponent at their very peak?). Another one are the *******s. How are *******s different from other fans other than their favorite boxer almost always wiins big fights in spectacular fashion? If *******s are delusional with admiration, aren't the Pac haters just as delusional with their discrediting and hate? It goes both ways. From the very start...If Mayweather fought like Pac, and Pac fought like Mayweather, would their fans still be on the same side? Is it the boxer they love? Or is it the style? Something to think about.
i hold Pac and Floyd to the same standard right about now. Both have showed me that they are great fighters but other than that...they are **** POOR characters.
