I'm on board. Lets cross our fingers and hope for a Christmas miracle and Frank Maloney from nowhere can produce the money needed to bring this fight to the UK would love to go to the Trent for this. It will be interesting to see how much the Purse for this fight will be, how much do Japanese promoters actually pay because Niskiosha has already been out of Japan once so you never know.

I'll be egging him on also. Missed the fight last night but I do admire Munroe. Not the most technically gifted but he has a great chin and work rate and heart aswell. Can he beat Nishioka? I doubt it, but it's possible and I hope he does it.

  6. I'm onboard!!

I know its all academic now but I thought this was interesting from the BBC site...

Two of the three judges had the scores level when the fight was ended, although one had it 79-73 in Munroe's favour.

How the **** could he have munroe 6 rounds up!

Haha! I'd love to sit and watch a rerun of the first three rounds with that guy, and have him describe to me what he's seeing. I mean, I know boxing is a very subjective sport, and that's one of the reasons I love it, but come on...

Great stuff last night.Fantastic that he has won every title on the way up and has truly earned his shot.I also thought the commentary last night was an embarrasment. They virtually had Munroe written off in the 1st few rounds saying it was a step to far.Surely they have watched Munroe fight enough to know it takes him 3 or 4 rounds to get going in any fight.

End of the day nobody can deny Rendall his shot he has worked hard for it. Im sure the Maldrutto fight was supposed to be an eliminator as well but they made him fight another but he has come through and he has that terrific work ethic that gives him a half decent shot in the title imo

He impressed me last night. A couple of quiet rounds, then he comes back like in his last fight, strong. I like this guy.

i'm on board choo choo..he has a decent chance against nishioka, I reckon 30% chance of beating him in Japan. Needs to start quicker though. Might even do a number on the likes of poonswatt if given the chance...

best of luck to him...he showed a lot of heart and determination last night after getting taken to school in the first few rounds.

it would be an upset of honeyghan - curry proportions if he somehow managed to pull off a win in japan.

The Maludrottu fight was an eliminator but not a final eliminator(as it shouldn't have been with Maludrottu ranked 13th).

Well done to Rendall and I wish him all the best in his fight Nishioka.
Nishioka isn't overrated however and I suspect this train mightn't be making it's way back from Japan(at least not with a belt).
