I like Joe, but this is ridiculous. Wladimir is very skilled, very athletic, fast, mobile and a power puncher. He'd control Joe at the end of his jab, which is much harder than Ali's, and then try and time him to set up the right hand. Joe is a tough guy, but the man would be a cruiserweight today and really only relied off of one punch.

Frazier did not take the best punch in the world. Chagaev takes a much better punch, and because of his style gets hit less. The fight could go either way.

I would pick Foreman over Chagaev, but it could get interestig in the mid to late rounds if Foreman does not end it soon. Chagaev can box and coutner. The two best boxers foreman fought beat him in Young ( who was not that fast ) and Ali. Frazier said Bonevena, who is really just a solid type of hitter hurt him. So your statement is incorrect. Foreman who was not a pinpoint accurate type of fighter hurt Frazier with ease. I don't think Frazier could take too many hard shots from Wlad. He would have to go to work early, and avoid swelling up from jabs. Frazier wasn't always a fast starter. Looking back, he never really face big puncher outside of Foreman who bounced Frazier out there like a basketball. Frazier did not mix it with Liston, Martin, Shavers, Norton, or Lyle....perhaps because his management knew he did not take a big punch, and style wise would have to get hit a bit to close the gap before he unloaded his hook, which really was his only weapon. Instead Frazier fought a lot of small boxer types without big power, which style wise favored him.
It's amazing how far the Wlad nuthuggery has gone. Lamon ****ing Brewster had too much power for Wlad. Frzier who is better at EVERYTHING in comparison to Brewster would destroy wlad. Seriously, 9 out of 10 times. It's just a terrible matchup for Wlad, who is a prety good fighter. Wlad would have a better chance against Joe Louis than Frazier. Keith
