Mick Hennesy wanted to postpone the fight, Kalle and the boys refused and Carl met their demands, even though he's the champion.

I'm a Swedish Kessler fan, and even if I'll wear a Kessler shirt on tonight, I will be cheering for Carl Froch.

Carl is a warrior and a very respectful man, I hope he wins.
If only there were more warriors in the sport like him.

Haha... He's carrying a minor injury so what? Kessler fought Calzaghe with a broken hand and a lot of other fighters fight with minor injuries. It's the name of the game pal.

Not even sure he's carrying an injury...

Hvis du er en svensk fan, kan du så fortælle mig hvad jeg skriver her?

Jag förstår vad du skriver, ja. :good
Därför jag säger att jag respekterar båda två, och jag har inget som helst emot Carl Froch.

Basically, both these guys are rugged warriors, whomever comes out on top won't matter to me, as I enjoy to watch both of them, and win/lose or draw, I am going to keep supporting both guys.

    Haha perfekt.

I like Carl as well, but I'm rooting for Kessler. Kessler has been talking the usual pre fight rubbish. I'm in my best shape ever I have learned a lot of new stuff from my new trainer etc. If this is not true then Froch will violate him. This is a pick 'em fight which makes it so much more exiting.

Meget ærgeligt at Erik Skoglund ikke får debut. Jeg havde glædet mig til at se ham. Hold øje med Patrick Reinhard Nielsen, han er meget lovende!

Let the excuses begin! Name a great fighter who hasn't fought with an injury. Hell, Calzaghe fought most of his career with a busted hand. Take out the tampon, Carl.

This is quite the contrary, Carl Froch has fought Taylor,Pascal, Dirrell and now Kessler since becoming the WBC champion.

Lets see how Joe Calcocaine did, took it from an aging Eubanks, fought and defended against Frank "The cabdriver" Sobot, Ferreyra the unknown and lost in many eyes to Robin Reid.

There's no knock on Froch, he's fought legitimate fighters since grabbing the WBC. :smoke

I like Carl, but this injury thing starts to sound as an excuse if he lose!

Like others wrote above, Kessler has fought with injuries against Mundine and Calzaghe. And i think everyone knows Calzaghe have fought plenty of times with hand injuries to

Erik Skoglund looks very promising, but I would have rather seen him go to the 2012 olympics. I haven't followed his amateur career that much, but know he's a nordic champion and the Swedish champion in 81kilos.

One thing is for sure, for being only 18, he's damn fast for his weight.

Both being born in '91, I really think it was a bit premature, both Erik and Patrick should of focused on the olympics, but hell.. what do I know?

i don't think this is an excuse. froch has claimed he is never fully injury free for a fight. anyway, this time the injury was apparently just an ear infection...

Probably right, but in Denmark there isn't a lot of money for the amateur boxing scene. That is probably why some boxers prefer to turn pro early if they have the talent. Don't know how it is in Sweden though.
