I bought and paid for the Colin Jones and Alan Mintor career dvd set from PAULHITCHINBOXING.COM and they took they money off the cred. card, but I never got the fights . This was in jan. I have contacted them and Googlecheckout several times, but they answer no emails and will not reply back at all. They are thieves to be avoided. There are a lot of honest sellers out there, but these guys are conmen and thieves. Beware!
I've dealt w/ MANY sellers and spent about 5 grand on dvds but these guys take the cake. The money is paid, I get NO fights and they won't even answer my emails. The not answering and trying to explain shows me they are crooks.
Gotta be very careful with this. Took me years and the DA to collect money for undelivered fight tapes from a Bert Sugar boxing magazine.
The Morlocks, I have bought from there before they are really slow usually but not 3-4 months slow. Thats shitty stuff, hope you get the DVDs or the money back.
Isn't there somewhere on the computor I could contact that is over these computor stores? That could contact Paulh. or Googlecheckout and let them know that this is unacceptable? Where are the computor cops for this kind of thievery?
Considering the DVDs you are buying are presumably 'copies' and Paul Hitchin dosent own the rights to the film, I dont think they are regulated as if they were they would be shut down. Maybe you could say threatening to bring him to the attention of Top Rank (who are shuting down alot of DVD trading websites at the moment) for selling their fights illegally.
The bad part is that they said on Jan. 17th that they sent them. I never got them and they will not answer my emails so there is no way to find if they can track them or what. I've been trying to GET hold of them for close to 4 months now and they do not answer me. At the least they should contact me to work this out. I paid the fee, it is their job to get me the fights and if they don't arrive, track them and find them or sent others until they get to me.
After failing for months to get any response from the mag after numerous calls and letters, I mailed the paper trail to the DA, with a covering letter that it was a flat-out scam (cost nothing but the postage) Didn't happen for two ****in' years (sure the DA had bigger fish to fry), but I'm certain the DA's weight resolved it. Got a check -- with a letter of apology -- from the mag for the full amount. By that time, it wasn't the money; it was the principle.
The Morlocks - I am currently experiencing the same problem with that website! Is there some way we can curb this thief???
Exactly what is happening to me mate!! I got an email saying they had been sent out... but they hadn't.
EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED TO ME, P. It's a BS stall. Even if you get someone on the phone, he'll shine-you-on: "I'll check on that immediately 'n call you back" Don't hold your breath.
