We don't know. Adamek has an excellent chin. Adamek also has better defense than Arreola, so more likely than not, Arreola will be the one absorbing punches. As much uncertainty as there is for Adamek's chin at HW, Arreola's chin ain't all what's its cracked up to be either. Adamek also has a heavy punch, so what happens if he tags Arreola?

Adamek has a good punch tolerance. When he gets tagged, he'll tie up, regroup, and stay in the fight.

At least, I am hoping so. :good

I can't beleieve how Arreola is treating his career. I really thought when he was cryin after the fight with Vitali that he was going to wisen up lose the excess weight and take his training serious. He is gonna end up like Sam Peter another guy that had talent, but ate his way out of it.

Its how it used to be in the lower weight classes. I hope that nothing changed in this case :think

Who cares about weight jackasses? Riddick Bowe fought better when he was heavy, didn't have to dry out in training and be weak for the fight. M.Kellerman and L.Merchant, two pieces of $hit, are always harping on this point because they are stupid, in the end an in-shape guy can be cut or pudgy, doesn't change his conditioning.

I agree. Chris will never be ripped, but don't let that fool you...I actually saw what he does to "ripped" fighters.
Adamek finally caves in around the 11th round..good fight though.

Please...so are you saying Arreola wouldn't fight better being 20 lbs or so lighter than 250? You're a fool. What the heck do you think was responsible for Bowe's career spiraling so quickly out of control. Check Arreola's stats. His punch output basically doubles when he's in the 230s. As it stands, the only way Arreola can win fights, even against D level talent like Minto, is by stoppage. And even a stoppage is less likely when you're throwing fewer punches. So basically the excess weight severely limits his options.

I just saw the weigh in vid. Damn that was embarassing, they where laughing at Arreola.

He may win some early rounds but Arreola's only chance is to stop Ademak early, beyond round 5-6 its going to be all Ademak.

What a disgrace, he should stop disrespecting the sport and either retire or somehow get into shape for fights (I doubt this will happen unless Adamek beats him up badly).
While I favour Adamek to be victorious, I'm worried that if fatty wins he'll feel that 250lbs is justified and waste another title shot.
