Floyd's a big favourite for two reasons basically, first b'cause he's a very consistent scorer no matter whom he is put against and his undefeated record accounts for that argument, then b'cause most expect Floyd to win even by a slight margin since a Pacquiao Mayweather fight would generate lots of money and bottom line, this is a business for everybody, even to the Casino owners and the Commissions who pay the judges. B'sides that, I would say that Mosley's age and his recent losses to Wright and Cotto have to do with it yes.

I forgot about the Mayorga fight. Was Mayorga up on the scorecards prior to the kncok-out?

i think the main reason is styles mosley has always struggled against good boxers hes brilliant against brawlers but struggles against people who can out think him

...yep and and he lost to cotto who some would argue then lost to margo, true, BUT, his advantage over margo was strength, not speed.

floyd may have trouble making this fight as much of a chess match (running, running, basically only relying on counterpunching) than he'd like, but still i have him UDing this one pretty easliy.
Not to take it away from him though, mosely is an A level fighter, but it's true that his speed disadvantage and age will show more than one might think coming up to the fight.

The oddsmakers must have actually gone through the trouble of watching Shane's last several fights.

He is old, he is inactive for one year and half, so he is clearlly an underdog, lets say maybe he has 25% chances to win.

Mainly age. 39! You are in your prime from 26-33, he is not only past his prime but could turn shot overnight. Floyd is 32 so he is still in his prime. Prime for prime Mosley would be the favourite.
