I think there are quite a few wrestlers who would do well in MMA. They are big, strong, powerful and athletic. Alot of them have wrestling or football backgrounds which proves they have some athleticism and fighting pedigree.

Angle, Ashley, Batista, Lesnar etc do interest me.

It didn't show any wrestling skills. He could strike but he's gonna need more than that to compete in MMA.

IF they have some other athletic background then based on that they may have some future in MMA. Lashley, Lesnar and Angle obviously more than others because of the importance of real wrestling, but guys who were just big musclebound actors on roids don't have any advantage over any other big formerly roided up guys and I'd take a former college football player over a form pro wrestler any day.

He was a bouncer and bodybuilder before getting into wrestling. He has no legit background. He's like a roided up Tank Abbott.

the world's biggest filipino isn't meant for MMA.Stranger things have happened, but i think that's too much of a stretch.

I still say Yokozuna would have dominated.

Boom. Just some meathead doorman that made it big in the WWE because Vince loves muscles and still hasnt learnt how to wrestle worth a lick.

To be fair although he's an MMA fan the video is only about him raising awareness and money for his ex-wife who has cancer. Honourable gesture in my eyes. But he still cant wrestle and he's still on gear.

Is that a real surprise though? Booker is like 230-240, and same height. He's also from the streets, EXTREMELY athletic, amazingly flexible, and obviously he's been training to fight for years, and years. How many fights do you think he's probably been in? Quite a bit?
How many fights do you think Batista's been in? I wouldn't expect any different outcome. Be different if Booker were 190 pds, and Batista manhandled him. No way does he manhandle a guy like Booker though with legit muscle himself
