I think Munroe adapted well after a difficult start and that performance last night only made me annoyed that a fight with Dunne never came off. We need the best to fight the best at all levels in boxing and that was an opportunity missed for both boxers in my opinion. Anyway...on a side note, does anybody know what time Froch-Kessler starts tonight? I mean the actual bout, not the broadcast.
true..Ponsawat said by the end of the second round he knew he could walk threw what ever Dunne had and land his shots. He added 'that fact made skill irrelivant' that is kind of admitting Dunne is more skilful? But in fairness to Poonsawat he didnt allow Dunne to out box him he closed the space down.
Lads I took another bet on Froch/Kessler not going the distance. I got evens. My logic here is that Froch will go for the KO as he is in Kesslers home town and Kessler is ok with trading instead of running. Don't think either have the best defense! not a lot riding on it though more of a fun bet..
No odds. No bookie will take a bet on it because its a god damn mother****ing certainty. The Age of the Jackal is upon us! :bbb Eh, the most any bookie gives on extravagant bets is about 500,000/1 so i'd say it wouldn't be far off if you could get anyone to take it. Problem is you'd want to be lumping some serious wedge on it. As unlikely as it is to pick the 3 KO results in the exact and a UD PTS results a bookie would still have to go out of his way to take the bet. There'd be no point in him taking a 2 win at 500,000/1 on the off chance it came off. There needs to be the chance for them to make some decent cash out of it or at least get some decent publicity out of such a mad bet.
You said it bam bam but I'd say poonsawat will probably win 1 or 2 rounds... Haha talking about the betting a boyo from my club tried to get odds on me winning a British title within two years of me turning pro and the only bookies that would do it was ladbrookes and they only gave him 2/1 with a maximum bet of £200 the mean shites!!! He wanted to put a grand on it and emailed plenty of other bookies but they wouldn't touch it
2/1 You obviously have a big reputation. Would that be at SBW or at any weight incase you moved up to FW...?
hhhmmmmm why dont you loose a few rounds in your next few fights and SBW will do an article addressing "mental problems" then we will see what the odds are like
Thats some stingy ****. Bookies on the run already! 2/1 to pick up a British strap within 2 years after only a handful of pro fights. The word is spreading fast. I'm looking forward to the Kings Hall (or wherever) in June now. The Carlos the Jackal Supporters Club better be ready to get rowdy!!!
