I'm not gutted. A little disapointed, but not surprised at all and certainly not gutted. Perhaps it will work out well as both fighters are still in it.

It's only an '0', and its certainly not terminal. The tournament is wide open now. There is nothing to be too disapointed about although I know where you're coming from as I felt the same when Kessler lost to Ward. Be really disapointed if he loses to Abraham I'd say.

Only fans of certain fighters and not the sport could be gutted at nights like this...fantastically entertaining and competitive fight between two top class fighters in a great tourney. I think people are so used to emphasize put on that '0' that they feel like its all over for their favourite fighter, Its not all over and the sport was the winner.

To anyone who's gutted tonight...its gonna get a whole lot worse because Abraham shocks everyone and stops Froch IMHO. But we'll get into that later.

I won money on Kessler, but feel a little disappointed Froch lost - work that out.

As long as people acknowledge it was a good fight, that could well warrant a rematch one day, one that we'd all like to see, I'm happy with that.

I will get wound up however, by people saying "Kessler white wash", outclassed, won easy, exposed Froch, Kessler god, Calzaghe god etc etc

I'd like to see it again one day, would favour Kessler (as I did here), but think the fight would be a joy to watch again: bring it on I say!!

But then you did have Martinez losing to Pav. Not criticising, no one can be right all the time. Personally I got Froch beating AA.

I am gutted Froch lost, but I'm not disappointed in the fight. It was a stormer.

AA/Froch will be another great fight. Froch has the tools to win the fight but he also has the ability to get KTFO quite badly. He has a good long jab that you'd want to keep Abraham off kilter, he can punch under and around a guard, especially against a static target that won't fire back.

    BUT, that defence.

Did i really? I gave reasons why Pavlik could win but i think my final pick was Martinez to outbox him.

I remember when the fight was announced arguing with people that Sergio would make him look silly, i just got more and more doubts as it got closer. lol

The thing is, I fear is that Froch's tactics tonight may well have worked better with AA, along with punching around the gaurd.

I fear that after losing tonight he may feel he has to go out and out with AA, which could be a mistake.

Froch has all the reach advantages etc over AA and his power punches are at a distance - if AA gets medium range inside that and unloads I fear he could be in trouble.

I feel/fear it may be a mistake for Froch to think, this Kessler tactic failed, so he need to push on the gas against AA and try and get him out of there.
