He may have had it easier to get bigger fights than others of a similar skillset, but there is no doubt the Kotelnik performance (he won every round?) and Salita demolition are good displays. Considering his age, he has great talent and a lot of potential. It sounds to me your issue may be more with Frank Warren's methods of promoting a fighter.

PFP Kahn is better than Froch, he hasnt fought the competition Froch has but at least he has talent.

Oh my god he beat Kotelnik an average Euro fighter and Salita a never panned out prospect......oh my god I am going to die from the very shock of this revelation.

No my prob is that he was KO'd, and they went into damage control, by putting him in with smaller named fighter, then trying to pass him off as champ because he beat a NOBODY, and then portray a win over another NOBODY.....as if he was a somebody.

News flash.......either fight someone already or stop trying to con your way into the top ten of a division, which I believe he has already done.

And the kid doesn't really have talent he just has fast hands, he is a typical top notch amateur, but he has absolutely NO PRO POTENTIAL! None!

Kotelnik isnt a nobody, he beat Marcos Maidana, who for many is one of the most dangerous punchers in the divison and many derided Khan for supposedly avoiding. So for Khan to totally outbox Kotelnik, is a very good achievement, especially considering his age and relative inexperience.

Thats pretty much what i said, your problem is with the people promoting him as more than he is. Thats not a personal Khan issue.

He didnt con his way into the top ten. He beat a top ten fighter very comfortably, which has put him at a high point in a lot of people's light welterweight lists, even the Ring have him top 5 and there never far off.

Your seriusly suggesting that it is possible to be a top class amateur, silver medal olympian at 17 with NO talent? Step away from the wacky backy old chap.

Don't you think you're exaggerating just SLIGHTLY when you say the guy has no pro potentially? Huh, maybe a little, yes? I can't stand this kid, but the guy is obviously doing OK as a pro, because he's unquestionable going to be fighting the top guys in a stacked division soon enough.

Besides, your manlove for Froch is evident in all the proselytizing you've been doing this evening about the Kessler fight.

Khan isn't the brightest guy in the boxing game, but I find it quite endearing in a way

Interesting. Hey, didn't Khan get KTFO by a guy Mitchell beat with ease?

Any lesser fighter can KO another fighter within the first minute of a fight, its called chance. But when a fighter gets outboxed for a few rounds or the whole fight and then KOed its not chance! Besides Khan was 20 and inexperienced costly mistakes are to be expected!
