One win over Kessler doesn't get him the crown of the division. Ward has won convincingly (sp) but his numerous headbutts discredited his win a bit. Anyways, it often goes to the style of fighters, a brawler might have a hard time versus an hybrid, etc... There's a lot of competition in SMW and I bet this won't be solved for another 2-3 years.
Big fan of Bute but he can't be called the best yet as most of the quality fighters are tied up in the S6. Until he fights and beats some of them he is not there yet. Damn good fighter though.
Only Ward's last two fights have been in his hometown. He has been pretty much the exact opposite of a hometown fighter. The majority of people in his hometown don't even know who he is.
I would like for Bute to fight one of the losers of the super six first before he takes on Ward which I'm pretty confident will win the super six. I would like to see how Bute handles Froch
When Pavlik, Abraham and Ward have beaten Miranda, he wasn`ta tomato can, was he? Who did beat him easier? If he`ll fight that winner who will say he will not deseve the match. The fights are in terms of sales also, dude. If a fighter has a belt and near thirty victories without a defeat than noone else could claim he`s undisputed until he meet him, could he?
The only one who has real chances about beating Bute is Ward but at no much than 50-50. The rest are under his value. That`s why I took the bet of the Scottish and I`ll do it with everyone.Three monts without postinh here if Bute loses more than 1 match fighting the S6-ers. Have you the balls, Maxim?
What seriously? Most of his fights have been in California. I'm not aware of the local specifics, but I would imagine given his background that most fights have been on cards organised by his promoter. Have there been any occasions when he had to face a notably hostile crowd? Had to fight on a rival promotion? Had to go out of his comfort zone in anyway? Ward seems like the epitome of what people terms as a 'hometown fighter' even though that often doesn't exactly always refer to one town (and few fighters with a major promotion in any country solely fight in one town), he's certainly not the 'exact opposite'. Who would count as a hometown fighter in your opinion?

It is easy t otake a gimme fight outside of the country, and that shouldn't really count. Kessler for example met a complete dud on some undercard in the US early in his carreer. Means nothing. It would be far more relevant making such a table seeing who has actually been abroad in world championship titlefights.
