I don't agree. I think Areolla has way more power than Haye, but Adamek schooled him tonight. I really think Adamek would do the same to Haye. Honestly, I think Haye wants to be Adamek. If Adamek had the stopping power of Haye, we might have another Tyson on our hands. As it is, Adamek is more closely compared to Holyfield. I'm intrigued as to how far he can go in as a HW. I didn't think he stood a chance against Chirs, but I was seriously proved otherwise.

Actually, I was serious, but I'm sure you know way more than me. Your post sure suggests it. Oh wait...... it really doesn't.

Nah man let's not get carried away with the historical comparisons. Adamek still has a lot of proving to do. But as far as Haye-Adamek it is really a valid debate on who' s the better man. One way to solve it. Have a fight.

Agreed, but I think Adamek is the slicker boxer with the better head movement. He just doesn't have the stopping power above cruiser like Haye does. Adamek's best asset at HW is that he has excellent ring generalship and is damn hard to hit. Haye has the same ability, but just not at the same level. I just see Adamek outpointing Haye in Holyfield type fashion (minus headbutts). There's no way he would be able to do that with either Klitschko brothers though. I'm starting to think there's just no way past their jab.

I disagree about their respective heavyweight CVs. But that's largely because I never viewed Arreola - without a top 30 in his career - as more than a hyped c/d-level fighter. Three fat, out of shape fighters but he's done all he needed to. Nonetheless, they're easily the best in the division outside the Klitschkos. Easily.
