Dont get carried away with Adamek , any type of speed and he doesnt win a round

    Firstly I like Tomasz , but throughout his career he has fought face first punchbags , except for one day when he fought Chad Dawson .

    This was in his 31st fight , he was bigger and stronger , but I dont think he won a round .

    Since then the only fighter with any speed he has fought was Steve Cunningham, who I thought even though dropped twice won by a few rounds.

    Then the move to heavyweight and he has fought three embarrisingly out of shape (in body and mind) so called contenders.

    He fights Haye , doesnt get past the third round unless he runs. He would be slower , smaller and have less boxing skills.

    He fights the Klitchko's and he could get hurt.

    If you thought Cunningham won by a few rounds, your whole post is rendered weak and invalid. Perhaps you should start watching chess or spelling bee?

    Estrada is not a face first punching bag. Neither was Cunningham.

    Adamek droped him three times and clearly won the fight.

    Golota I will grant you, but Estrada and Arreola were both legit contenders, particularly Arreola.

    Consensus top five guy who entered the ring in better shape than he usually does.

    Two wins over top guys = Two more wins that David Haye had over top guys before getting his title shot.

    Adamek would have better conditioning, a bigger heart, and superior durability. It's not the mistmatch you describe.

    This I agree with.

    But Adamek is NOT a true heavyweight. He's just good enough to beat top heavyweights well above his natural weight range.

    Appologies Three knockdowns , but I believe at least one of the judges scored those rounds 10 - 9 Adamek, due to Cunningham being so on top .

    Regarding your other points I can take your point of view , but just believe the top three are quite away ahead , Haye with speed , and the Klitchko's with size and speed.

    He won 3 rounds against Dawson. Dawson is a beast though, p4p top fighter.

    I bet you watched like 2 fights of Adamek. Its funny how people see Adamek's fights with Briggs and proclaim him to be a face first brawler, when in fact Adamek is a technical boxer. When Adamek knocks down Cunningham 3 times people say he is a brawler with a huge punch. I agree that Adamek's punching power has improved with him moving up but he was never known for his punching power, he had UDs over journemen back when he was young.

    Arreola didnt put a scratch on him and his defence was very good in that fight.

    I like it how fans think that when someone knocks out a bum impressively all of a sudden they would knock out all the top opponents. Even David Tua in his comback knocks out some bum and he is ready for Klitschko.

    I agree all the Adamek fans are really overdoing it with their enthusiasm. He wasnt that impressive,(except for his discipline) he might have gotten lucky with Arreola hurting his hand and all. Adamek couldnt budge Arreola and was hurt on a few occasions, he is lucky Chris didnt land his money shot.

    Had this fight a draw 115-115. Calm down Adamek Nuthuggers, he had all he could handle from an overweight Arreola.

    :patsch:patsch Adamek schooled him, get over it already, it wasnt even close , arreola won 3 rounds at most, event he admits that he got beat up badly , yet you still spread urs "it was an even fight" bull****. Your boy lost but life goes on.:good

    Many of the Adamek fans are having a hard time agreeing with my even scorecard, well i clearly dont understand the one saying that Adamke won clearly im gonna post my card and i strongly stand by it

    I had Adamek winning 116-112. I cna see 7-5 as well but I don't think Arreola is relaly that good. Arreola was able to manhandle Adamek in the strength department, even when he was pushing his punches Adamek was moving around.


    I think Adamek needs to go back to cruiserweight. He's not meant to be at HW.

    I agree he should consider him self lucky that Arreola didnt knock him out. Since Adamek has no chance against the Klits, he should count his blessings and go back down to cruiser.
