I had Kessler by a point. Froch could've ended that fight earlier. No doubt he wobbled Kessler a couple of times. I'd back Froch in a rematch all day long.
Kessler deserved to win but I do not think he'll win the Super Six.

Kessler won it,a few of the rounds were close but he was the guy making the fight and landed more shots.

Froch for me but so many rounds were tight as hell. So no complaints.

I thought Froch did the cleaner work, but Kessler was on the front foot and the aggressor. That usually gets you the nod these days.

Kessler won 10-2, the delusional folk may tell you it was close, but it was a clear victory for Kessler. Cant justify giving rounds other than 5,10 to Froch.

He was more consistent and dictated the terms of engagement for eight rounds. The rounds he lost were when he stepped into Froch's method of fighting.

Draw 115 - 115 on my card, (so no surprise Kessler got it) but not by more than 3 rounds....

That doesn't win you the round does it? Clean punches do that, surely?

Don't get me wrong I'm fully aware and accepting that scoring is subjective. I leant towards quality last night and that came from Froch IMO. I felt much of Kesser's pressure didn't result in punches landing.

Froch landed lots of clean counter jabs.

So you gave Froch his 2 crystal clear rounds but EVERY tight round to Kessler? Nonsense!

When Carl landed it was harder, but he was being backed up and was often getting off last. He was getting tagged plenty from my recollection and wasn't landing as much as some like to think.

I don't think he ever really figured Kessler out.

Kessler was the clear aggressor, getting the better of the exchanges, and used the jab well, hence I favoured Kessler in the close rounds.

Had it 115-115 whilst watching it, but just re-watched and think 7-5 to Kessler.
