Gave Arreola 3, max 4 rounds.

It's not even worth discussing, he lost clearly.

I dont know how, but it influented 2 judges. 114-114 and 115-113. The fight wasnt THAT close. As most people here I give Arreola 3 or 4 rounds.

Adamek beat the HBO boxer on the HBO in his hometown in California. It was a very risky to take this fight, but finally it ended very good

Didn't keep a card but I felt Arreola won 4-5 rounds at most.

    Arreola only won rounds 4,5,6 & 10 (maybe 10)

    4 at the most.

I understand how judges in the arena may be influenced by crowd noise, etc. That's a potential factor in many sports.

I don't see why someone watching at home on TV would consciously choose to award a round to one fighter on the basis of where the fight was. That's crazy.

You don't know how to score a fight. rounds 1-3, 7-9 and 12 were clear Adamek rounds, Arreola clearly won rounds 5 and 6. rounds 4, 10, and 11 were close but Adamek looked better in those rounds.

With Adamek, not of this stuff matters. He is in his own world right now, in tennis he is what you call "in the zone". I've never seen such a cool, calm, confident fighter like Adamek.

When he 1st stated he wanted to move to HW after crushing Banks, I thought he was crazy.

Don't pinch me...I don't wanna wake up just yet!;)

117 to 111 for Adamek. This isn't even debatable. You simply look foolish or like a blind nuthugger for arguing anything other than a clear Adamek win. The point of boxing is to hit and not be hit. Adamek clearly did this better throughout the fight. I do give credit in close rounds to the guy applying effective pressure, but that definitely was not EFFECTIVE pressure being applied by Arreola.

Also, other than the HBO crew promoting their own fighter in Arreola, I just didn't see Adamek getting rocked like they kept saying he was. Anytime Adamek got trapped in a corner or on the ropes, he did the smart thing by covering up, taking a couple of shots on the gloves and then moving the hell out of there or clinching. The HBO crew would start screaming that he was hurt, but NOT ONCE was Adamek on rubbery legs. We as fight fans have all seen fighters hurt and or buzzed in the ring and Adamek certainly wasn't that at anytime last night.

On a side note, the HBO crew was even more biased in favor of their other house fighter Angulo. He was losing the first 5 out of 6 rounds in his fight, but by their announcing, you would have thought it was a onesided massacre for the entire fight in favor of Angulo.

I gave him the first also.

4-6 were no brainer Arreola rounds., I know there are a lot of Polish fans here, but 10-2 is out and out foolish and 9-3 is about as far as you can go, and that's if you are giving EVERYTHING to Adamek.

Good win for Adamek, but man he l0oks uncomfortable getting hit. He needs to wait the whole Klitschko thing out, and should probably stay away from Haye.

Man you were watching with very shaded glasses there.

Papa and Kellerman gave Arreola nothing the whole fight. Adamek would land a 1-2, get cuffed with a left by Arreola, fly back three feet, and they wouldn't even mention Arreola threw a punch much less landed it.

Adamek was hurt in the fourth or fifth, that was obvious.

Jeez, can't ANY fans watch their fighter objectively???

I dont think he was as hurt as they made him out to be on HBO....it was more of a footwork issue due to his shoes comming apart. BTW what kinda ****in shoes is this guy wearing that they are falling apart in the middle of a important fight?!
