Gotta give it to Mayweather though. When it comes to embarrassing yourself and being a dick-head, there's none better. He's also a walking contradiction too:

On fighting for a title:
"I did not want to fight for the WBA title. At this point, it's all about enhancing my legacy.

On fight for money:
"I don't fight for legacy, I don't fight for none of that. I fight for that cheque. I'm in the cheque cashing business

:-( It was really sad, the guy had been estranged from his dad for nearly 10 years, and came wit that BS about another man and thier father-son relationship, just like when his dumbass kept talking about money But owed the IRS 6 million:rofl.

If he truly only fought for money, why would he even say that he's better than Ali or Robinson? Why would a guy who only fights for money make such a bold comment in regards to his legacy in the sport?

Floyd praised his dad many times in the press and on 24/7 in the past, but said his dad tried to hard to control him. He never really bashed his father. And his father was making big money already training De la Hoya. Pops didn't need to stay in Little Floyd's house.

when mosley called him out back in the day, he said he mosley had 5 losses, what do i need him for? but fights Baldomir with 9 losses. Saying he will fight anyone, but yet, no fights with cotto, williams, margarito, pacman. saying when he came back from a long layoff he is matured and wont be talking **** like he used to...but thn you see him riding in his car with a stack of cash saying shane can afford to go shopping. te guy is a cartoon character plain and simple

 

Floyd is a POS. He is always consistent with his inconsistencies. He talks **** left and right. If only his mouth could fight, maybe he could knock his opponents out....

For fighters at least, it can pay to be stupid and dumb.

 

Exactly, there was a time where Mayweather Sr. very badly wanted to be on the other side as a trainer against his son.........yet Mayweather talks about keeping it in the family.
