..if the Abraham fight is in Germany. http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2010/apr/25/carl-froch-boxing Load of bollocks if you ask me. If he leaves the Super 6 who's he going to fight with no title? If he went for Bute he'd have to go to Canada.
Eamon Magee is doing well. and there is always the winner of the calzaghe-Reid rematch. And not forgetting a catchweight contest again Khan! Just wait till he see's those twitter postings, he'll starve himself to make 140 if he has to lol
I would have thought these issues would have been sorted from the outset. As you say, if he pulls out, then what exactly? He's got nowhere to go, other than to Canada.
Probably thinks if he loses he gets knocked out. I still think he makes it through by virtue of Dirrell losing to Ward and him beating Dirrell H2H (1st Ward on 8, 2nd Abraham on 6, 3rd Kessler on 4, 4th Froch on 2, then Dirrell on 2 but losing out H2H and Green on 0. For what it's worth, I think the final will be a Ward v Kessler rematch)
i thought they had 21st of augis penciled in for nottingham i think it would be a bad move but to be honest he should get the fight in the uk
Abraham deserves the home advantage just as much as Froch. I would imagine there will be more money in it for the pair of them if the fight takes place in Germany. Hennesey ****ed up by not getting the Kessler fight over here now Froch sounds like he might be panicking abit.
The thing is Froch is the only one thats got a dodgy decision at home of the two, Abraham hasn't. I understand the concerns though but if I was AA I wouldn't want to go to Nottingham either.
the reason hell be upset is how wide some of the scores were , hes coming of his first loss and lost is world title , hes down nd thought he would have the crowd behind hi for his 3rd and most important fight to date to be honest he needs to be at home not for the cards but to have the crowd at his back add to this the fact he was under the impression the fight was going to be at home and there tinking of changing it now
To be honest I found two cards of 115-112 in favour of Froch over Dirrell to be far more absurd than the cards last night. I thought 116-112 was a good card last night so I didn't see too much wrong with the scores being in that region.
He has no power over the organisers. If he pulls out, he has nowhere to go for TV exposure and the millions Showtime promised him will evaporate too.
