Haye. I'm actually surprised how close the poll has it. I think it may just be that everyone's on a bit of an Adamek high right now.

haye is out of fashion right now. but he sold 800,000 PPVs for the valuev fight and carries the hardware (WBA title) that adamek wants.

i don't see why haye has to get ridiculed, graded down, be-littled by the adamek fans. it pisses me off, as i am an admirer of both fighters.

can't both guys get credit for what they did? carl thompson i believe was still in ring mag's top 10 cruisers when haye fought him. like adamek, haye became a better fighter after the defeat.

both haye and adamek have great bodies of work, both have beaten a world class heavyweight apiece, both were genuine cruiser champs. adamek was also a light heavy champ and this is the only clear advantage he has over haye. but consider: haye stepped up in his 2nd and 3rd years as a pro! (carl thompson and alexander gurov). adamek fought no one of real note until he was in his 5th year as a pro. although adamek is a guy who keeps rising to the challenge, it took him a lot longer to step into world class than david haye did.

:rofl LMAO! how? because he fell and barrett hit him when he was down? and the fact that you accuse of haye of a cherry picker lets me know how ill-informed you are. he fought and beat valuev to have more leeway when negotiating with the klits, since the contract they offered was BS. and ruiz was haye's mandatory defense, you really have no clue about anything do you?? man i hope haye fights adamek so he can knock him out and you people can stop talking about this guy. there is nothing impressive about him

Golota was a warm up HW fight. Certianly 10X better than Bonin even on his worst day. The win against Arreola is better than the win against Valuev. Certainly, performance wise Adamek impressed more against Arreola, than Haye managed to against Valuev. Most people I know were laughing their asses off at Haye's effort in that miserable performance. When Adamek won against Arreola, most people gave him props.

yep, like i mentioned before adamek is just the flavor of the month. this is a typical ritual for ESB after ONE fight, so when all the **** clears up and when mayweather/mosley happens, people will be brought back down to earth. ill give it a month until people realize adamek doesnt have a snowballs chance in hell against haye.

Take away the British and Polish voters and I'm certain Adamek takes this poll by a fair margin. Again, he's been at HW half the time that Haye has been here. That's saying something.

Barrett's accomplishments at HW are about equal to Arreola.

Ruiz and Valuev have done way more than Arreola.

So Haye has 2 better and one equal to Adamek's best win.

i don't know what that is supposed to mean. it sounds good though.

if you're talking about thompson's loss to rocchigiani, thompson was boxing his ears off. outclassing the german. then thompson dislocated his shoulder and could not continue. his shoulder was hanging put and one arm looked twice as long as the other. it was an injury defeat, and thompson won the rematch with ease.

carl thompson was one of the best punchers p4p in the world. he had stopped sebastian rothmann in the fight before haye. haye was taking a massive risk at such an early stage in his career.

thompson was slow and crude, but an absolute warrior with many thrilling wins, vs chris eubank (twice) and good world title challengers rothmann, terry dunstan and akim tafer.

"the cat" was like a cruiserweight nigel benn, without the charisma and career opportunities.

so was bonin and barrett!! are you even aware of how many times you contradict yourself?

lol, freaking manny pacquiao probably couldve beat golota at THAT stage of his career.

so getting rocked repeatedly by a fighter who has the worst technique in the HW division is more impressive than a fighter making a belt holder miss before nearly knocking him out in the last round? yea, cant help you with that one my man.

    lol they were probably polish.

they're both pound for pound talents, they both have taken big risks in their careers, they're both champs at 2 weights - and they're both helping to herald a new era of FIT, FAST smaller heavyweights that can beat the big plodders.

Adamek for one seems one heck more active and willing to get in the ring with anyone. Adamek had 3 HW fights in 6 months. Haye is "resting".

This doesn't mean Haye is scared, Haye at HW just seems to be more carefully and rationally weighting the risk/reward aspects of each fight -- hence his inactivity. Adamek comes off as a guy who is very passionate about boxing and eager to getting in the ring with anybody no matter how dangerous the fight is or where it happens.

If Adamek got an offer from either of the Klits right now I doubt he'd decline, no matter what the contract or purse looks like. He'd get in the ring and give his very best, regardless of how hopeless the odds may look on paper.

First Hamed, then Hatton, then A-Farce, then Khan.some of the biggest hype in boxing, exposed as soon as they faced a live opponent. Haye is another Brit bubble waiting to be burst. **** chin is one of many characteristics they all share. Its amazing how you Brits set yourselves up for this.

And that's the difference between Adamek and Haye.
I could easily foresee Haye avoiding both Klitschkos and Adamek now.
