According to French-Canadian boxing website, La Zone de Boxe, Bute's promoter has made a formal offer to Robert Stieglitz for a unification bout that would take place in Romania on July 25th.

The ball is in Stieglitz's camp now. Hopefully he'll take the fight.

I doubt that Stieglitz will take this risk!

Nah, Bute would win fairly comfortably and I'm sure Stieglitz would like to keep hold of his trinket.

if the money is right then he should.

however, i expect Bute to stop him inside 6 rounds.

Neither side is willing to fight someone that can hurt them.

    Bootay all day!

    Bute ko7 Stieglitz.

This would be a smart move for Bute while waiting to fight the s6 crew, if he does. Either way he needs to keep fighting at least B- comp to stay sharp.

Hope this happens. Picking up another belt would definitely make him unavoidable for the super 6 winner.

Money talks. Stieglitz has proven himself as a fairly credible beltholder so he will be a draw for the two super-sixers+1 who get eliminated later this year, so he will consider a good offer from Bute. If he doesn't he'd have to fight a solid mandatory challenger anyway in one of these two eliminated fighters.
