Froch clearly won the majority of the first 6 rounds, didn't really need punch stats to confirm that, but the figures there will silence the Cobra haters.

I can write on a napkin "Mccain won the election and now President!" but that don't make it so. The premise of this thread is ludicrous. You counted every time Froch thought about throwing a punch as a landed blow.

If Froch 'won' that fight then Dirrell won the fight against Froch. I mean, if the numbers are what matter, Dirrell buried Froch, outlanded him every round, with jabs and power shots. Just sayin'.
Kessler won the fight. Maybe by only a round, but he won. Get over it. Carl lost his 0.

I really dont get you people. Look at round one - Kessler clearly lands more jabs and wins that round although Froch looked powerfull at one single occasion in the round. But Kessler landed more. But still people claim that Froch won that round?
And Kessler is completely dictating the fight in the early rounds, making Froch go backwards.

Kessler won fair in a close fight. Although not as impressive as he would have done a couple of years ago.

This thread seems legit. Let me now consult a system that my mother's uncle's sister's friend is testing for (potentially) future use on Showtime.
froch 83 jabs, 59 other punches
kessler 39 jabs, 22 other punches

Oh, wow, those are the same numbers, what do you know. There we go independently verified. Now we have proof.

Where do you people come from???

Kessler won that fight clearly - no bogus punchstats are going to change that.

    Round 1 - no real action - a tie

    Round 2 & 3 - clear Kessler rounds

Round 4 - very close round - could be scored both ways

    Round 5 - Froch

    Round 6 - Kessler

Froch winning - tsk tsk - even Froch knew he had lost after the fight - he didn't even borther pretending.

In the poll - 5% have Froch the winner - if only 5% of the users thinks he won - then he clearly lost - hell 10% Vitaly lost :D

Even Bunce had Kessler winning - please take the defeat as a man and stop whining!

I just whipped up a random number generator in Excel.

Froch 22,378 power shots landed in the first round.
Kessler 219 power shots landed in the first round.

I hope Interpol are called in to investigate this robbery!

Dirrell vs Froch was a robbery. Carl landed maybe two power shots the whole fight and was missing wildly looking like an amateur. This fight was not even close to a robbery.
