After watching this last episode of 24/7 it has become quite clear (to me anyways) that Floyd is just trying too hard. His lines are tired, his shtick is forced. His personal attacks are just stupid and have nothing to do with boxing. I just wonder what is he trying to accomplish. I mean, how much hatred is this guy trying to generate? Then he pathetically attempts to invoke sympathy from the audience by whining about his personal problems. This guy is a character to say the least- "polarizing" however, I don't agree. I prefer to use that term for people I consider to be a bit more intellectual.

I have stated several times on these boards that I think Mosley is to Mayweather what Forrest was to him. Mosley is going to hit Floyd hard and often, lunging in wildy (missing often, obviously), but still making an impact. Look for this sequence to be immediately followed by body bumps and clinches, all intended to tire "Money". Think of it as a "Hopkin-esque" like performance, but with more action. Floyd is going to be getting pounded all over his upper body for 9 plus rounds before slowing, and eventually get stopped. Look for Mosley to finish the bout around the 10th, taking advantage of Floyd languishing on the ropes. Seeing Floyd's antics on HBO has further convinced me that he isn't ready for this kind of fight. Thoughts?

In all honesty, I would recommend that you not place any bets on this fight based on what you see on 24/7.

No, It's just that most of the crap Floyd says is contrived garbage intended to drum up support for the fight. Floyd is going to beat Mosley like he just caught Mosley taking a **** in his living room. The rest including all the talk of Mosley having a shot in the fight is just to drum up support. Shane would have been picked apart by Floyd when he was prime and the 18 month lay off is doing him no favors. I'll give him the proverbial punchers chance as he can punch like mule.

You see what you want to see. This post is evidence of that.

Mosely's biggest problem in this fight is that he doesn't have the type of jab to trouble mayweather, and he's open for the lead right hand, plus Mayweather has superior footwork/footspeed imo. In the center of the ring Mayweather will pot shot him.

As far as mayweather beating him up? No, i don't see that happening. Mayweather was cautious against chubby featherweight JMM. He will be VERY defensive against mosely. Have no doubt. Floyd will run in this fight. He will probably win 7 or 8 rounds from pot shotting to take this fight.

That being said, I would love if Shane breaks him down & knocks him out. That would be awesome. Shane's best chance is to push him to the ropes and work up and down with controlled aggresion. That's how DLH had success, and that's basically how JLC had success.

We'll see what happens. Hopefully Shane beats him. That would be sweet.

I saw no evidence of this DLH success you mention. Did he land some scoring punches? Yes. Were they effective? No. Those DLH body shots were laughably soft and even Shaq Diesel or my chubby ass could shrug off those slaps. JLC had some success with pressure though .

If anything it seems to be the exact opposite. When have you heard Mosley trash talk before this fight? When have you heard Nazim Richardson trash talk before this fight? Mayweather has this fight in the bag.

Once inside the ring Maywether is all business ..Shane will get tired and he never moves his big head he always get hit alot in all his fight. Once he see's that he can't hurt Mayweather... he'll just round it out just for the showing...he had the nerve to say he's just as fast as Mayweather ...when you look at how he hits the speed bag vs PBF its no comparison....and I thought that towel method was ridiculous ,proving that Mosely reflex are not there..this right here proves something is wrong...Mosley going into this fight on pure heart..and thats ok because it takes some real courage to go into the ring...but this fight here will be one sided ,while everyone hopes Mosely does well ..its not going to happpen ..look for Floyd to be alot more active in this fight...his timing will be superb and you will see Mosley holding and hitting ,just to buy time in this fight.

ALL IN ALL THIS FIGHT IS A MISMATCH...TRUST ME

So you watched 24/7? If so, you would notice something more significant than that complete BS novel you just typed, and it concerns Shane's training...

But how you can come to that conclusion, and such a specific prediction, after 80/90 mins of 24/7 is beyond me..

    Yawn.

Floyd stopped after "languishing on the ropes". Whether to laugh or cry....
