I have read some comments on here where people are writing things insinuating that Ward and Dirrell have possibly used something illegal to assist with their performances. Can anyone say where this comes from, what they are supposed to have used and is there any known proof etc

    Idiots.

Their opponents' lack of championship pedigree.

Is this true? Not sure if thats sarcasm or not. But has he been found guilty of anything? And what about Dirrell?

It's true. He is working with Victor Conte, who was found guilty of supplying illegal sustances to athletes (Shane Mosley and Marion Jones for instance). He has no medical training whatsoever, but for some reason he thinks he can work as a sports nutrition expert. Ward claims that he checks all the labels on stuff and that Conte should be forgiven, but circumstaces are suspicious. For one thing, Ward (and Eddie Chambers for that matter) has claimed
that he used a "breathing machine" supplied by Conte.
Anyone who follows cycling (where joicing is rampant) knows that people use these contraptions to excuse the higher levels of hemoglobin (or something like that, I'm no medical expert) caused by EPO. This was covered in The Ring magazine recenty.

That goes for Ward. I haven't heard stories of Dirrell using this though.

I don't believe Ward is doing anything illegal, but still, why would he want to work with that ***** Conte? That guy had no respect for the sports that we love.

  10. victor conte - there was a article a while back where ward and chambers were saying they use some breathing machine he has, also he gives them some vitamins and stuff.

Just to be associated with conte is one dumb ass move

Olympic style drug testing in their upcoming fights would put a silence to these claims.

No it wouldn't. Some of the most comprehensively tested athletes in the world still have allegations of drug use made towards them. Lance Armstrong as an example.

Would this be the same Olympic style drug testing that Marion Jones passed when she was on drugs purchased from Victor Conte?

It would be an imperfect method, but the best practical means we have to catch cheaters. Do with that as you will.
