well now, it appears its more important where you fight than how you fight, is that not sickening' no wonder boxing not getting mainstream coverage basicly its ****ing corupt, whoevers promoters got the most clout wins, god nowonder the average man prefers football at least you can get an away win if it goes the 90min' the full jobs a bad advert, just read through the posts on this thread.

Too perfect a suggestion for it to come off, IMO. That would be awesome, though, and I'm sure the Irish would provide a ****ing awesome atmosphere:good. I don't think the fight is big enough for America considering that Sauerland have said that the fight will go 'wherever the most money can be made'; I have no doubts that Sauerland could fill out a stadium in Germany and every doubt that Mick can sell one out over here. I don't want to join another 'Fat Mick is an idiot' brigade, but you do wonder what the hell he's doing half of the time.

Like TFFP said, Froch is spitting his dummy out big time over this because he's still pissed about the result not going his way. I hope a sensible compromise is reached in the end as it would reflect poorly on Froch after all the support he showed the tourney from it's inception. I thought Showtime said the contracts were 'water tight' anyway? Think it would be much harder for Froch to leave the tourney than he thinks.

Anyway, I'm sure it'll all blow over in a few days anyway. Or at least I hope it does!

Very true. Every single fight so far has gone to the home fighter.

Again, Froch is just being honest. He said he'd have got the nod at home. He probably would IMO. And he knows the crack against AA - if it goes the distance the guy at home will win.

    It's bent as ****.

I have to say the home advantage trend is concerning me it basically proves that the odds are completely stacked agaisnt you if you fight away from home wherever in the world

cheers mate Froch used a town in the west of Ireland for his preparations for his first title shot. The O2 in Dublin holds 10,000 fans and for a Froch V AA fight it would be a great venue.

money ****s sport up, makes it a priority if you want to be a sucess. ****ing hell even the amateurs have ruined there sport, they put headguards on to take it out of the particpants hands more so as they can decide the winner even if he's lost by a mile. and for a medal, only if they don't let the ones their bosses want to the final they don't get a look at any lottery money. all the wrong people in charge all round, im on a downer with the job, can any body put anything positive in i need cheering up.

Just shows how incompetent fat Mick is, settling for a verbal agreement on the venue.

Why? Froch couldn't sell out a 9,000 capacity arena in his home time. Since then his profile has barely increased and he's lost. How's he going to sell out a 20,000 capacity arena in London?

I thought it was already set for Nottingham. Can anyone think of any neutral location that might suit?

Froch must know that he will lose to AA and realizing he's not that good what a puss he is.

I figured that out 25 years ago when Colin Jones got his "draw" against Milton McCrory.;)

Its always been a fact of life in boxing to one extent or another.

Host it in Glasgow. They'd hate the Armenian (who they'd think is Polish) and the Englishman equally. Everyone's a winner and it's only 30 minutes there by train for me.
