Lads I think some of you know Brian Peters. Ask him to jump all over the Sauerland V Hennessy debate about where Arthur Abraham fights Carl Froch. Neither promoter seems willing to allow the other a home town fight! Therfore I am calling on Brian Peters to pull out his diplomatic majic wand and sell it to them the fight can happen here
Thanks, and Carlos you could get on the undercard of a super six now that is what I call exposure:hey
Thats not a bad idea, get him to convince Froch that the Irish fans will be behind him because of the time he spent here sparring and training in Sligo (or Mayo, cant really remember). Load the undercard with Irish talent and boom, we have a great show on irish soil...
Would you fancy taking on someone like John Donnelly on the McCloskey undercard? He has a good record, (11-1) doesnt seem to have a big punch, isnt a euro bum and hasnt boxed since magherafelt
------- it was castlebar Mayo. And coincedintally a Mayo man - our very own Michael Sweeney, was sparring partner for AA!
It certainly would be quality exposure this is such a good idea. it actually sounds like something that both camps could defenitly go for
twould be good alright. Tell AA that the Irish hate the Brits and would all be on his side - tell Frock (sic) that because he was based in Breaffy that the Irish all took to him and would be on his side. Then get Paddy Cronan to put it on his facebuke and sit back and watch it all unfold! :deal
In all honesty and I hope I don't sound too big headed but I would box most in Britain and Ireland right now at super bantam but as I've said before I'll let B McG pick my fights for me... I'm not sure if donnelly is a full blown bantam weight I thinks he's a bantam and could even do super fly at a push cause he's very small. Even smaller than me would you believe
