The Cyclone doesnt choose your fights - WE do!! remember that. You get yourself an eight rounder next and then we should wheel Marc Callaghan for an Irish title fight if Paulie would vacate (doubtful) or get Stephen Russell for a Celtic title
I don't think the Germans would be too found of it really, they know that a huge amount of Froch supporters would come over and make it an away fight for their man. I don't think too many of the Irish public would be interested in it(bar boxing fans) so it wouldn't sell aswell as it would in either Germany or England. If they are picking somewhere neutral it'll be the US. Nice idea though.
Or he could just clatter the head off Paul Hyland and take the belt off him :bbb Just make the KO in Belfast a good one. I want to see bolo punches and corkscrew uppercuts flying in from all angles :good Stephen Russell would have his head blasted off inside 2 rounds. It would short and brutal.
well maybe when Paddy sees this he will ring Mr Peters to run it past him anyway. I mean I travel to Germany alot and its only 2 hours away. London 1 hour. a win for the fans and bord fáilte
Nor should you. We'll leave the match making to McGuigan. Who sanctions these Celtic Title fights anyway?
Paddy also has good contacts in Germany he could bring them around to the idea too!!! If lee was fighting for a European title on the undercard and there was a few irish title fights on it- i dnt see why it wouldnt sell out. the one snag would be tv-is peters tied to RTE

The draw for Prizefighter has been made. Corbett should win first fight - then he has to face Herbie Hide. http://irish-boxing.com/stories/april10/apr10_corbett_prizefighter_draw.html
Yeah its possibly the weakest lineup yet. It's hard to knock the format though, and at least we should be ensured excitement when Hide and Corbett meet.
