Alfredo Angulo vs a prime Nando Vargas

Just going with the recent Angulo fight trends.

But anyway.... replay of Vargas-Campas. Vargas woulda turned Perro's face into a swollen mess, and stopped him.

 

Angulo would get smashed by Vargas.

 

Vargas better run, because Angulo would knock him out if he stood in front of him.
I'd take "El Perro" in this fantasy fight.

 

Vargas was overrated and had no chin. Angulo gets outboxed for a bit before flattening Vargas in 7.

 

So are you implying that Angulo hits harder then Tito? If so..

I bet some of yall picking Angulo never even SAW a prime Vargas fight.

I'll give you a hint.... he was alot better then Kermit Cintron.

 

I was actually being sarcastic since a lot of people never knew how good Vargas was before he lost to Trinidad. But I'm not so sure that hatesrats dudes was being sarcastic..:think

 

This would have been a hell of a fight. I'd take Vargas by decision.

Vargas gets really underrated on this board. Pre-Tito he was a very good fighter.

 

Fernando Vargas.

 

A "Prime" Vargas had no fear = He would stand & trade with Angulo.
This would be a bad idea for "Ferocious" considering this would be Angulo's only chance.

IMO, Angulo has the better chin & would take anything Vargas has/had.
Considering it has been Fernando's chin that ultimately gave out in most of his big L's.

I like Vargas, But I always questioned his training & bad habbit's.

 

Vargas would take him apart just as he did Campas.

 

You do realize that Angulo would lose to all the fighters that Vargas lost to and would get kayoed much quicker at that.

 

Maybe, Maybe not.... That said Angulo is better than Campas.

 

I'm not even sure Angulo can beat prime Quartey

 

Vargas' beatdown of a "prime" Campas would be the barometer for this fight
