Damn right Froch got robbed: Why are they keepin Kessler around?

Man, I was thinking the same myself...Kessler, was getting hit flush with those right hands...He tried to block them but wasnt doing a good at it, but I gotta give Kessler his props, he did slow Froch down with those body shots, In the later part of the fight, he did start to land his jab.

I must admit I could see if the fight was a draw...No way was this a robbery!

 

It was very close but i give it 7 rounds to 5 to MK

I think Froch's fight plan was flawed, he thought he could stay away and come on strong in the later rounds but it was he that tired late in the fight. Bad Plan, I think he could've won easy.

That's the way I see it. If the fight was in England Froch would have won.

Saying that, I saw Kessler miss a LOT of punches and he took the harder shots from froch well, but he still got hit. Seen the fight three times now and Froch won by two rounds at least.

 

So a guy made screencaps of some of the few punches Kessler landed and didn't do the same for Froch.

What exactly does this prove?



I just watched the fight and I think Froch won. I am not a Froch fan and was rooting for Kessler, but can't honestly say he won.

Froch landed more shots.
Froch landed cleaner shots.

Kessler was more aggressive but hit a lot of air, gloves, and arms in his flurries and the exchanges, while Froch found Kessler's face more often. It's like awarding points for goal attempts and goals instead of just goals.



Kessler got a hometown decision in a close fight. I consider this payback for Froch getting the decision over Dirrell.

 

forgot to mention that the crowd would roar every time Kessler spastically attacked the air

 

I had Froch winning by 2-3 rounds. 117-111 from Tilleman is a crime.

 

I basically had the fight a draw. I think that Froch outboxed Kessler for the most part, but Kessler fought hard and outworked the champ in several rounds. I really hated to see either guy get a loss. Very good fight.

 

He didn't have his nap or his apple sauce, guys.

Let's just let him run around in his room until he falls asleep.

 

Really, than why am I one of the only mother ****ers on this site that knew Froch would OUTBOX Kessler. IF you don't believe me, check my history.

But he didn't...he lost. He got to fight his natural style, which is counter-punching, against a guy who is relatively limited and wide open for counters at the end of a combination, and he lost. He didn't knock him down, he didn't win more than one or two rounds clearly, he got outworked, and the MOST success he had was when he threw caution to the wind and turned it into a brawl at the end of the fight.

And he still lost. You don't outbox someone on your way to a loss.

 

It was a close fight, and you could definitley score it for roch, but it was no way a robbery. Kessler was hitting Frochs body all night.

I had it 115-114 for Kessler.

Very close fight with very few CLEAN shots getting through, which has become the norm for a Froch fight.
