There will NEVER be as much buzz for a big UFC fight as there is for a big fight in boxing. The UFC is a sport for white trash, and it'll never overtake boxing in overall popularity because it only appeals to a certain demographic, whereas boxing will always appeal to EVERYONE.

I mean put it this way.... will you ever see Brad Pitt, Denzel Washignton, Magic Johnson, and Jay-Z attending a UFC fight?

    Boxing>>>>>>> UFC. Now and always.

Dana White also supports boxing. He attended live a big boxing event last March 13 at Cowboys Stadium, Texas. He also invited his friends to attend that boxing event.

  5. As far as popularity goes. Dana white and a few others have tried to feed us this idea that MMA or just UFC is already taking Boxing over and Boxing is a dying sport and blah blah blah...

Just look at a couple of PPV figures for 2007, 2008, and 2009 and all that **** goes out the window. Boxing's big fights are doing twice the buys as UFC's. UFC main drawing fighters get paid 10%-25% of what De La Hoya, Hatton, Pacquiao, Mayweather, Both Klitschkos, and Bute are making.

Don't get me wrong, I love MMA, but all this rivalry bull**** is overhyped by the MMA side and some of the major sports media (ESPN and Sports Illistrated) are buying into it.

He didn't just wear a boxing jacket, he supports boxing and just recently attended live and in person a big boxing event last March 13, 2010 at Cowboys Stadium, Texas. He also requested his friends to attend boxing events. :huh

White can try to hype up MMA all he wants. I won't give a **** as long as 90% of the fights keep resembling nutsack dry-hump "endurance competitions".

That's the problem I have with it....and at the end of the day, it looks like complete brutality with very little skill....I'm not saying there isn't skills involved.....but just watching, makes it seem like the fight is ususally over after one guy uses simple brute force to win....the defense is ****, the fight last most of the time on the floor, dry-humping....It looks like stuff i've seen drunks get into at the local bars...

It'll be interesting to see James Toney fight old man Randy Couture. Toney is gonna get slammed to the ground immediately and have his face smashed in..
