Giving Frochy the last two reeks of weirdness. I had Kessler winning those, just outpunched him, especially in the final round, although Frochy did enough to earn the 11th on my mates scorecard, which I wouldn't disagree with.

Froch landed the more singularly telling blows IMO though.

I find it very difficult to understand how anyone could not score the 11th for Froch

I thought every round was close on reflection. There were only two rounds which were obvious rounds for either fighter (5 and 8), and then it came down to whether you preferred the heavier punching of Froch, or the consistent work and body attack of Kessler.

But Froch did not win that fight. He didn't look like he was in control of the fight.

He is certainly better defensively than many give him credit for...posters scored shots for both Dirrell and Kessler that just didn't land

You do realize the second punch landed? That's a 33% connect ratio.

If thats a summary of the fight Kessler threw 3 punches and Froch did nothing which would probably be the reason he lost the fight on a wider scale. He didn't do enough and was pushed back.

Odd that neither judge gave Froch the 11th or 12th.

This was a genuinely close fight it seems.

Van Wiele and Cavallari's cards are fine.

Tilleman's is curious. Not just for the wider margin, but the way he gets there.

Wiele's is pretty similar to how I saw it.
