Like all sensible people, he saw Kessler "fighting a winning fight."

Has anyone seem/ read/ heard any post-fight Kessler interviews?

(Besides the one where Peter Schmichael made Kessler congratulate Rachael Cordingley for being up the duff)

Alas, no. I wonder what Kessler was thinking? "Am I meant to congratulate him for shagging an amazing looking girl?"

It was n't even a parting shot or a "by the way". It was bang in the middle of the nitty gritty about the fight. A proper "WTF??" moment.

I think Schmeichel may have had a few sherries by that point.

"Kessler didn’t seem quite as precise or technically excellent as in his fights with, say, Anthony Mundine and Librado Andrade, but he was fighting a winning fight"

The fact he doesn't rate Froch's defence and puts him in the same class as Mundine and Andrade prooves he knows nothing.

Where does he say either of those things?

The fact you'd outright dismiss someone as knowledgeable and respected as Houston proves how little you know, Rob.

Mundine's a slicker fighter than Froch, and Kessler was much faster and more accurate against him. He's stating a well acknowledged fact that Kessler is not as precise as he was and his technical form was not there on Saturday.

Kessler three years ago would have flattened Froch.

You need to consider what you write before posting, Rob. It reflects poorly on you.

He was supposed to positively compare him to Calzaghe and Ward!

Fair enough points, Kessler's actual boxing was a bit of a disapointment. Some of it can be put down to Froch's reach and awkwardness but some of it was just plain sloppy as far as looping punches without even aiming and hoping it hits something.

Smeichel is covering Champions League in Denmark as well. He is just as clueless when he talks football as when he talks boxing which is mind boggling :silly

Sell out, i cant beleive u'd sell Audley short like that!

Schmeicel has always been a bit clueless in the studio, i remember when he was on the bbc covering an arsenal-chelsea game, and claiming this goal was the greatest ever scored, thats right, not the best of the season, but greatest EVER!!! lol

    Haha!!

I didn't abandon the A-Force. He came to me in a dream and told me that it was heresy to idolize him. So naturally I had to change my avatar to that of an inferior boxer :D

Well i can beleive that, there is something godly about Audley, like when he was using his right hand to hiold the good book and the left to KTFO Sprott.
