But no, when looking at it in more detail, Hamed done himself more damage than Barrera ever did. He just had complete disregard of the gifts he possessed, and became dangerously complacent

It's amazing how people rank it as an accomplishment for Haye to "retire" a 38 year old has-been who hasn't won any meaningful fight in what like 6 years? Beating up old bums is like working the heavybag. It means jackshi**. Remember when Wlad stopped a 41 year old Ray Mercer and won with ease like 10 years ago? Same thing. It's not a test but it gives naive fanboys reason to celebrate.
I agree. Nothing against Haye. But he simply did his job. He did what any good young title holder should and mostly likely would have done...He beat up a guy who didn't belong in the same ring with him. The gushing reviews are a bit much. You don't give the plumber a standing ovation for fixing the toilet...do you?
