Arreola needs liposuction. I'm actually not kidding. He should seriously explore getting his stomach stapled. From what I've heard, the man is a compulsive eater.

His trainer can't tell him what to eat and can't motivate him to eat less or more, that's something Arreola his self needs to control if he's serious enough in this sport. His weight IS the problem, he also has poor punching technique as he reaches alot with his shots. He could be a whole hell of alot better than he is right now. The 4 guys you named are about as good as they will ever be, because they are professionals through in through, the same can NOT be said of Arreola. Those 4 are versatile and they work hard, train hard, eat right etc. Arreola is trying to get by on pure strength & aggression alone which won't work against good boxers. Just Imagine if Tyson in his hey day trained half ass and came in overweight like he did at the end of his career, we would all be saying "Tyson who". Obviously Arreola doesn't have that kind of talent or skill BUT this is a very shallow division (even more shallow than the 80s) where he could definitely make a splash and be a belt holder if he got his fat ass in shape.
Bingo, Arreola has to care enough about being great, to put down the beer, and step away from the table.

Trainers can push their fighter all they want, but it boils down to the fighter wanting to put in the work needed to get to the top. Arreola doesnt have the mindset or determination to put in the work needed. He will rely on his punching power, rather than conditioning, to try to get by the rest of his career.

that's true... but as a friend/trainer i would make arreola move in with me and i would monitor his fat ass..........it doesn't help that his trainer is also a lil meatball looking mother****er.......
I have yet to see an Arreola fight where he demenstated any kind of technique other than coming straight forward and throwing haymakers.
Arreola is 1 dimensional.... He wants to slug it out and make it a fight about natural fighting instincts and power..... He would beat most in a street fight, but boxing is a sport
mayorga held a title and beat some great guys, why can't arreola.....boxing aint all about looking and doing everything textbook, that's what makes the sport fun ****, giovanni segura is slowly becoming a star and have you seen his style ??????
