The fight has been posted all over youtube and its popularity will spread by word of mouth for sure.

If Froch had given the Taylor fight to Sky for free he would be a big star now. A lack of exposure has killed his career. A great fight on Primetime TV is not going to change that.

Let's hope so, in the entertaining crowd pleasing fights he's been involved in, you would hope he starts to pick up a bit of major interest.

I agree in a way, but the Pascal fight was on terrestrial - he sort of went down that road.

Personally however I think all major UK fights should be on terrestrial TV, but that's another argument.

Youtube. No seriously, you tube! Thats not enough to get more PPV numbers for the Abraham fight. Who do you think is looking at these fights on youtube anyway....the casual fan?

Froch had some momentum after the Pascal fight live on ITV, that no mark primetime has put him back into obscurity.

And its the fault of Fat Mick, just read an article where it said he's a no nonsence promoter, who knows his price... i.e. like Witter wanting 50/50 in the Hatton match, when it was his homecoming after the mayweatehr match.

He probably tried pulling the same **** with the ITV execs, who were already struggling and they told him to eff off.

The kind of people who know enough about the fight in the first place to have typed in 'Carl Froch v Mikkel Kessler' on youtube:lol:

Im not from Nottingham or even England and I want to see Froch v Abraham. Why would a boxing fan not want to watch this fight ?

Thats the point. Sky and other networks dont just want the hardcore boxing fan. They want to grab the attention of the casual fan who watches fights now and again. Whatever Hennessy wants sky and others aint paying as froch isnt a draw and the super 6 hasnt generated any interest over here.
