The Dirrell who fought Abraham would beat them all without a doubt. I don't say this, because I'm a big fan of Arthur, I really believe that Dirrell made an incredible fight. In that shape it is hard to beat him. Funny thing is that a lot of posters think Abraham is overrated now after he has lost one fight. They forgot that Dirrell made Abraham look stupid and slow and there's nobody in the tournament who could execute a similar game plan - not even Ward.

I was a bit surprised that Kessler's punches seem to lack power. Nevertheless he made a good fight and the decision was well deserved.

 

Kessler landed that beautiful right hand to the body all night thats what won him the fight. I just feel if at some point he threw it upstairs he couldve stopped Froch.

 

i agree man, both just beat each other up, froch does not have a single ounce of skill or talent, just heart imo

 

Probably, MK would make Direll his *****.. Direll is probably more giftet but thats not all in boxing - MK is probably the strongest SMW out there (froch just found out last saturday). So you just count him out - you are welcome.

At least him and Froch makes a good fight to the fans. Don't count so much at direll, you should rather stick to S.O.G I think it's more safe for you.

And please don't make comparisons with direll about MK making a fool out of himself. Look at direll's two last fights (especially against Froch) - come on be serious. It's very right the man is very talentet, but he acts out like a pregnant girl, not a warrior. (maybe it's because his very young, okay, but then please don't use the poor mann for your shitty comparisons)

 

Where have you been?

Kessler's been slow, plodding, and clumsy for three fights in a row now. That he was able to dig down and take a world title anyway is a testament to his warrior's mentality. Kessler is clearly a diminished fighter if you look back at his peak performances (against Mundine through Calzaghe), and even the first couple of rebound outings after Joe.

From Perdomo on he's had two left feet, both made out of lead. His accuracy and punch selection are both horrible now in comparison, and his once mighty one-two now looks average (when he actually uses it).

He should definitely still be able to stop the very pedestrian Green, though (and therefore advance himself to the semis) - unless Green somehow shocks the world and proves himself to have better dimensions than he's shown so far, and manages to beat up Ward (which there's about a .0001% chance of, IMO).

 

u say that dirrell is not a "warrior"?.. just because he has to skills to avoid punches and not just stand there and get blasted by slow, plodding shots, dont try to say he's not a warrior... he's just not YOUR type of "warrior"..whatever that may be...

i would gurantee that dirrell would make kessler look just as silly as he did to abraham... :bbb:deal

Dirrell would beat Kessler. Hands down. Kessler would have his "moments" with his ineffective aggression as he had his "moments" against Froch, but he would lose a wide decision unless of course they were in Denmark or Germany where he would win no matter how beat up he looked and how bad he performed by a score of 118-110.

 

Yep. Accuracy - where did you go? Even in his prime he'd probably loose against Ward but the "old" Kessler wins at least 10 rounds against Froch.

 

rubbish - Kessler looked 100x better than Dirrel vs Froch.

maybe people are starting to see the impact of home advantage. would like to see Ward go to Denmark or Kessler go to the UK. Even Froch in the States against Dirrell...

 

Ward should have to leave his comfort zone just like the other fighters have had to. That ain't right.
