I have loads of respect for this man now, and i sure a s god hope he can overcome abraham and avenge his sole defeat to kessler.

i'm sure loads of calzaghe nut huggers will bang on about how their guy beat kessler blah blah blah, i dont give a ****. styles make fights and this was always gonna be close.

But my real question is this.

What do you think froch deserves for his last 2 fights?

i personally think he beat kessler and dirrell.

It would be interesting for me to see how posters see this breakdown.

I 100% agree with watching. People that think He beat either Dirrell or Kessler simply don't know boxing and/or can't score a fight for sh!t. Both were close fights. I thought the Kessler fight was closer but in the end he simply lost both fights. Thats what most boxing pundints worth their salt think and I agree. Without doubt the nmost over rated fighter in a generation. I hope and pray he fights Ward or Dirrell in the States. The watch this clown get exposed. Did anyone not see the Jermaine Taylor fight! Look at the first 8 rounds and tell me Froch is a truly world class operator.

froch is a tricky one, i try to like him, and ill always watch his fights, but i do think he is an absolute dick most of the time. Constant attacks on other fighters, bitterness and jealousy just makes it hard to like him.

in terms of his last 2 fights, for me, he lost to dirrell and got the decision because it was in nottingham. I dont think he won he fight against kessler either but in no way was it an "obvious" for win kessler. It was a very close fight.

Not sure if hell beat abraham, froch always leaves himself open and has no defence whatsoever.

If froch can just focus on boxing rather than be swarmed with jealousy and bitterness about not being on sky ppv then he could very well beat AA, though he needs to be at his best

the lack of defence is the one way that aa might punish froch. but for me, unless aa lands his big punch froch will out work him over 12 rounds

I personally though both fights were close but he lost both. I think I had Dirrell winning 114-113 and Kessler 115-114.

I have loads of respect for the guy though, but I do think he will lose to Abraham and be eliminated.

they where close, i had the kessler fight 7-5 to froch, the dirrell fight also 7-5 to froch. but you know im an english guy, i support english boxers. i score the close rounds in this favour, is this biased? hell yes, but will i ever change it? hell no!

again with aa. i see aa having a punchers chance but that is it i think.

froch isn't overrated except maybe by his nottingham fans. no one thought or thinks he's going to win the tournament except him. if you think he's overrated because he had a belt, then you need to look at all the alphabet champions at every weight-there are scrubs up and down.
he's actually better than people think and showed some versatility and ability to execute different game plans on saturday. the fighter on saturday was very different from the guy who fought taylor and pascal.
lou dibella actually said he was the most underrated fighter in the tournament.

in the kessler fight i had it even after 9, and then he won 10, 11, 12 IMO. the dirrel fight was uber close, but till dirrell threw combo's i struggled to give him a round

I had Dirrell winning by a point and Froch beating Kessler by a point but both fights were very close and had loads of rounds that were tough to score so i wouldn't argue if Froch had won both or lost both.

I enjoy Frochs fights. He is quite often in entertaining fights but if he wants to win the super six he needs to seriously work on his technique and on his defense. He can't just keep relying on his chin to win him fights.
