I like Amir but after he beats Malignaggi he seriously needs to step up his opposition otherwise he can't expect NOT to have his detractors

 

Once he fights the best in the LWW division and wins he'll be able to run his mouth off. Up until that point he should shut up and get on with his boxing.

Im not a Khan hater, but I really dont understand, what do you see in this guy.

No charizma, no power, no chin.

I always thought, that british fans like warriors, no bycicle. But it seems, you are ready to support anyone, who got british passport.

I really like Khan. I think he has improved tremendously under his short time with Roach and has the skills to be a P4P fighter one day.

However his chin is still a huge problem. It is quite clear to see that he doesn't have a chin like Mosley or Margarito and although age and his new training regime may improve it, unfortunately for Khan it will always be a weakness.

Khan is protecting his chin a lot more now thanks to Roach but eventually he is going to get cracked and it is only then when we will find out how much his chin has improved.

I think that is why people favor Alexander and Bradley over Khan as they have decent power, but unlike previous Khan opponents (an old Barrera, Kotelnik and Salita) they have the speed and skill to land on Khans chin.

I personally don't know who to favor at the minute out of Khan, Bradley or Alexander. We will probably get a better idea after the Mallinaggi fight. Not that Mallinaggi has the same style as Bradley or Alexander, but like them he is quick with a decent defense so it will be interesting to see how Khan handles a style that he has never seen in a professional ring before.

When you say 'no bicycle' i presume you mean he fights on the back foot? For most of Khans career he was actually a come forward fighter who would often throw caution to the wind and unload on people recklessly. Its only after getting KOed that he has realised that if he wants to win against the best he can't be so gung ho as he will get KOed again. This more cautious Khan has only came along since he has been with Roach. It may be less exciting but it will make him into a much better fighter.
