If PBF spent as much energy on just being great, instead of harping on & on about it at every media opportunity; if he spent more time acting like a People's Champion instead of assassinating the characters & obvious weaknesses of his upcoming opponents, he wouldn't have as much criticism directed at him. & all of this doesn't even address his selection of opponents.

Little kids & their drunk dads like WWE style hype. For the rest of us, his lame Apollo Creed/Clubber Lang/Muhammad Ali impressions got stale a long time ago.

Some are. I think some believe they think that everything he says he means. They point to contradictions, but don't realize when he is in fight hype mode he says anything that comes to mind to rant on and knock his opponent.
