The problem is though, Froch has clearly riled him and Khan has been waiting and waiting until Froch loses to have a go back. It's been brewing for a while so Khan was always going to say something the moment Froch lost.

All this tweet nonsense from Khan is a bit pathetic. Twitter and Facebook etc is an absolute load of bollocks if you ask me. But I have no real problem with him saying what he has. If Froch goes into his next fight and blasts Abraham out of there he'll have responded to Khan's comments in the perfect way. What will Amir 'tweet' after that? Not a lot I doubt.

Khan now has to back his talk up by doing the business against Malignaggi.

But thats the problem in my eyes, going out and doing the business against a feather fisted fighter doesn't prove too much. He should be proving the doubters wrong by facing punchers and people who have a chance to hurt him then he'll prove himself. Froch is pretty weak technically but is fighting everyone, punchers/boxers/fighters you name it.

That's a fair point. I was really just meaning that Khan has to go out in his next fight and do the business, after all his comments. He can't run from the big punchers forever either.

I like Froch, he's grown on me a lot over the last couple of years. He's a warrior of the sport and gives it everything against anyone. It's a shame only real followers of the sport and people in his hometown know who he is.

someone earlier posted this about Froch on Khan:

"carl what's the problem between you and Khan?"

    Froch:"You mean King Khan" (laughs)

"I don't want to be remembered for bing rich or running people over in my Lamborghini"

"He’s just a bit young and fragile and probably just needs a hug from the rest of Team Khan or his personal chauffeur or whatever"

”I remember Khan’s close friends and family at ringside looked like they were having a heart attack, watching the lad getting hammered like that!"

If I was Khan I would be pretty pi$$ed off by these kind of comments.
Khan's comments were stupid but hoping him to get KO'd over a guy like Malignaggi(a guy that is harming the sport with drug accusations)

that's BS and you know it... he was popular in the olympics with the general sports fans.... made it on to bbc and popularity grew despite concerns regarding his technique and chin.... made it onto sky box office and sold several thousands of tickets wherever he fought. if he was not popular i doubt that would be the case.... i don't deny he has his haters and those who doubt his ability or maybe think he doesn't deserve this attentioon.... but fact of the matter is in the UK he is popular and well known.... in fact this poll is a very good indication of how the country, general sports fans and hardcore boxing enthusiasts are split right down the middle regarding him.... and even then if you have half the boxing fans support in this country that better than nothing

well i agree to some extent... but now khan is with goldenboy he wii fight the other top guys next i'm pretty sure.... he can't avoid them forever or until they're done as all the top guys are relatively young....only marquez is old and he doesn't belong at 140 imo.

he will have to fight the following

    devon alexander
    timothy bradley
    marcos maidana
victor ortiz - after the top 3
maybe marquez or juan diaz if they move up and after he has beat the other top guys
