Kessler swang widely and missed loads, Froch actually landed cleanly quite a few times, and was one punch from knocking Kessler clean out. Kessler may have won the fight, but under no circumstances won that round.
Kessler won the true round of the year (the 11th). The 11th was the far better round than the twelfth - both men landed more cleanly and more often.
If it was all about hardwork, Darius Vassell would be the best striker on the planet, its not. In boxing its about who hits most compared with taking less. Kessler missed loads, Froch landed. Froch rd.
I'm literally watching it right now. I suggest you do the same without the rose-colored glasses. Both missed and landed in about equal measure. The round should therefore be judged on the efficacy of the landed blows.
I gave Froch 4 (narrowly) and 5. I had 12 even, but Kessler if I had to put anyone because he was creating the fight, more active, and being the agressor.
