Chris is not the sharpest,in fact he is pretty stupid so the chance of him doing what he needs to do are slim to none.

not necessarily true. I worked hard and ate decently all through college but I stayed at about 190-195. I asked my parents for a personal trainer going into my senior year of football and after about 5 months I was roughly 208. Trainers help, don't kid yourself. Yeah maybe that was wanting it myself but I do give credit to the trainer too.

all natural too, but he did show me some different supliments and how to use them. He did get more out of my workouts than I got out of them myself. It helps, and his trainer is his buddy, not a guy that is going to push him.

He needs discipline to not eat, he easily can weigh 230 and be faster and stronger but he won't.

he himself needs to work at it himself.

Imagine if he put in the work like Pacquaio, Mayweather, Mosley all do.

totally agree, a trainer may help though. I could've eaten better, I could have gone to failure on every last set but I didn't.

    I agree as well.

    It's both really.

A trainer that will push him, and discipline to push himself.

Thank you for this. A trainer can't do everything, but a dedicated trainer might inspire Arreola to take his career seriously.

Needs a new trainer to teach him more skills on the technical side. He needs to go back to the drawing board, and work on different types of strategies for different types of opponents. The conditioning isn't such a problem, because he carries the weight well, and has a good workrate. The change of style is what he needs, he is to easy to hit. Brawling will only get you so far, especially at the world level...

A fighter needs to keep a level of discipline between fights.

    Arreola lacks that.

The best trainers in the world couldn't stop the guy eating when they're not around.

When Mayorga was at 147 he worked hard, and while his technique is not pretty he was a far more effective and was a much better puncher than Arreola, who reaches with his punches, Arreola could be a force in today's very shallow division but he won't because he is not dedicated.
