Getting tired of hearing that he is damaged goods after two losses, lets assume that he defeats Foreman in the next bout, and gives Margo a beating in a rematch, and then continues on to beat lets say, Cintron or Berto.

Would he still be damaged goods? Too much speculation over such a short term of events.

I really hope so. He is my favorite active fighter. I have a feeling his dad death might have ignited the flame a bit.

    2010 is redemption for Cotto.

Its actually only 2 wins necessary assuming that Margo is **** without his plaster.

I think he beats Foreman, and then he should beat Margo and Cintron and retire after having a brilliant career

Cotto seems like one of the guys that few people hate on. I think almost everyone wants to see him do well unless he's fighting some boxer that they especially favor.

I don't see Cotto losing to Foreman; I could be underestimating Foreman, but from the two fights i've seen of his I dont think he can handle Cotto's relentless attack all night long. Although Cotto is moving up in weight, so it could be interesting.

I hope he can... I feel cheated that his prime was cut short by Margarito.

Whoa, one fight at a time. Foreman is mostly a runner/mover type of fighter with no power and more of a tuneup fight for Miguel to get some confidence back without being in danger of getting stopped again. Don't know if this will be an interesting fight in terms of styles but it should be the easiest route for Cotto to once again capture a belt. PR fans will be pleased should Miguel win and having the belt he could likely entice some decent money fights. Lets see what happens with Yuri first. Cotto should be in absolutely zero danger with Foreman but if he gets staggered here then you might want to consider the label damaged goods.

I hope the guy makes a comeback- in this sport you can be untouchable (after Mosley win) one minute and damaged goods the next. I reckon he has a bit left in the tank.
