but he beat the guy that thrashed cotto, so obviously he's not passed his best. and he didnt only beat him, he thoroughly dominated him in every sense. i see you've got your excuses set lol.

The week leading up to the fight is probably when Floyd will get the least hate.

But come Saturday night he's gonna either have won a close fight with everyone screaming robbery, lost...or most likely, dominate Shane for 12 rounds and come up against every excuse in the book.

It's just Crazy how people can go from "Shane's ducking Floyd cos he'd get his ass beat."... to... "Shane's too old and Floyd will get a meaningless win"... like wtf

So what? Margarito is a punching bag with a good chin. I am/was a fan of margarito and I always said Margarito was not gonna hold his title for long because his style didn't allow it, he can't outlast everybody, I wasn't in the least bit surprised Mosley sparked him. Call it what you want because it doesn't matter if it's labeled excuse, it's a fact that Mosley is 39, lost to Cotto, looked bad against Mayorga and has been inactive.

Well im not to bothered about what people will say after the fight. Im sure ESB will keep up its fine tradition of bull**** posts from both fighters fans.

Alls im bothered with is the reality, and the reality is is that Mosley is past his physical peak due to his age and even more worryingly is the fact that he hasn't fought for such a long time so shaking of that much ring rust against the best pound for pound fighter and most slickest boxer around is going to be very hard.

Saying that though, an old, rusty Mosly is better than most so Floyd should get credit for it.

Oh and your smoking some HEAVY **** because you have the nerve to say, he's not past his "BEST". So he's at his best? Hahaha. You've never seen a prime Mosley then.

Look at the Mayorga fight. That's all you need to do. Shane is not prime, nor has he improved since then, so get your heads out the ****ing clouds.

Floyd ain't fought a prime guy since he went to LW. Get a grip and open your ****ing eyes.

Mosley is past his best, thats no doubt, but he's far from shot like people make him out to be by calling him old.

He's still a top fighter and the number one WW in the world.

    Age shouldn't matter.

Then again, the same people calling Mosley old at 38 were saying that Mayweather was ducking him (when they said this, he was 38)

I like both fighters , Mayweather cannot win though cause as the thread says posters will say Mosely was too old if he wins. I remember it was not that long ago posters were saying Mayweather should fight Mosely he is the true champion at Welterweight then the fight gets made and hes too old :fire

Look what Hopkins did to Pavlik ( who was going to be the next best thing :rofl ) what was Hopkins then about 43 ?

There is not a fight out there for Mayweather where there will be no excuses after he wins

He's ok, I know he's not shot. But seriously he's not close to his prime either. He's between the two. I mean I wouldn't consider Pacquiao beating a prime Mosley, Floyd either (but less so because his less brawling style) now I consider it a possibility. He's maximum, a 6.5 out of 10 imo.
