It's true. No other fighter today has more speed, power, explosiveness, amateur credentials, agresiveness and pure raw talent like " El Ciclón de Guantánamo "...

At just 28 years old, Gamboa has a very good chance of becoming P4P #1 in aproximately 1 to 3 years, after Mayweather and Pacquiao retires. Even though that there are very strong fighters for Gamboa like Lopez and John, I don't see anyone stopping him at 126lbs and 130lbs...

What do guys think ??? :bbb

    Future #1 P4P ???

  2. He's chinny and wide open. Will be in some good scraps.

Chinny maybe, but wide open not. He has improved immensely his defence lately and his pure talent, speed and KO power is A+. Don't see anyone touching him at 126 pounds, he has a very tough road ahead but he can overcome all obstacles with maintaining focus and without losing dedication. He is so talented that can beat both Mayweather and Pacquiao at 126 right now.

Chinny is a bit exaggerated. He was hit by some good shots earlier in his career, but, got up quickly. People are just hating.

Care to elaborate as to why not?

He's got the tools and technique, power, and has some great footwork. Sure he still has ways to go, but it's not crazy to think he will be P4P one day.

I still think Guillermo Rigondeaux is better but he's running out of time.

Out of the new wave of Cubanos, I have Gamboa and Rigondeaux above the rest, with a slight edge going towards Gamboa. I think next year we will see these guys faces some good opposition, and truely know who is P4P material. :bbb

Ok, the guy is very good and have a good chance to make it big. Just like many others. I am just afraid he will get weak and lose by KO if you don't stop sucking his ****!!!!!!!!!!! LMAO

he's got the speed, power, athleticsim, and will to be one of the best. if he can polish his defense to be as good or even better than his offense, then god help the FW division lol.

He seems to have it all. And his frame looks like it could support him all the way up to 147 over the course of his career. Still has unfinished business at 126 though. I'd like to see him fight both Juanma and Caballero before moving up though.
