He has never won a big fight away from MSG. He is so precious, that he gets to fight his big fights on the even of the P.R. parade, somewhere in NY. If that was Floyd pullin that bull****, people would hit the ****in roof.


Hatton at least went out of his comfort zone a lot more. And he actually ruled his weightclass. Cotto never did that. At 147 he was regarded as the best by his legions of hopeless fans, but he never proved it. He fought the LOSER of the PW-Margo fight and got beat like a hooker. And never thought to fight the winner. Strange.

and what does fighting in nyc have to do with anything. he is puerto rican. even if the fights on the even of the pr day parade it dont matter. a win is a win. not tomention he beat mosley in november. bottom line is he will continue to flourish and his next test is an interesting one. we will see what happens from there but something tells me he will make a nice lil comeback.
