I don't think Cotto is damaged goods. I used to think many of his wins were questionable till he fought Margarito. There was always a what if with Cotto to me. Cotto/Corley was stopped by a bad ref. Zab had his nuts beat to death. And the Mosley fight was very close.

I became an official fan of him watching the Margarito fight. Even though he lost, I feel like that was his best performance to me. I was like damn did margarito go to the gym and just lift weights with his face or something cause Cotto was hitting him with EVERYTHING! He boxed a helluva fight.

And even though he took a beating from Pacquiao, I feel like he's still got it in the tank. I think he just needs the right guidance in his corner

I'm talking about at 154. If he wants the 154 belt, he should take it from the best guy at 154, Martinez or Williams.

cotto doesnt belong at 154 either. I think the foreman will be his first and last fight at JMW. He will go down again after that. Williams and Martinez are definitely the best from 154-160. With Martinez #1. :hey

I dont think hes finished in fact i think he can perfectly move up and dominate the junior middleweight division, the only 154 pound fighter i would pick to beat him is now fighting at 160(Maravilla) all others get their ass beat.

So you think he beats PW?

There we have it. Then that's who he should fight next.

You aren't gonna get me to put up too much of a fuss about someone rating Martinez at #1. They put on a hell of a fight, and it was a close one that certainly could have gone his way. Plus he outright dismantled Pavlik. No argument here.:good

But when Paul beats his ass again. I wanna see what you gotta say then.

@ NBA I didn't select Pwilly because there was no guarantee that Cotto wouldve beaten him pre-margo either.

Cotto was an amazing talent and one of my favorite fighters of all time. That he took on Mosley, Margarito, Judah, Pacquiao, and Clottey almost right after the other is very admirable and no one should question his heart. He is still young and just needs some mental and physical tweaking (legally) to get back to the level he was when he defeated Mosley. That version of Cotto was unstoppable. I hope Steward can help him especially in telling him when to jab and box, when to go to the body, and most importantly when to clinch when he needs a breather or when he is in trouble or basically to take a knee instead of being brave and getting busted up. Defensively just needs to fight alittle smarter. I just hope he doesnt look past Foreman, avoid Foreman's right hand, who IMO fights very similar to a prime Oscar Delahoya except without the huge left hook, but has a rapid fire jab and very good footmovement. If Miguel can fight Foreman like the way he fought Mosley and respect the bigger mans power, even though Foreman is not a big puncher, bigger man fighting a smaller man that is chinny, he can beat Foreman by countering him and breaking him down. Going for the ko is not a good idea just look to Delahoya-Sturm. I just hope Steward throws in some quality sparring partners to get Miguel back to the level he once was. Discipline and focus will make him a champion again.

I think Cotto has a very good chance against Foreman, and I would love to see a stunning comeback. The only thing that concerns me is the amount of damage he took in his losses. However, his chances are still good.

I think Cotto can take this, Foreman has NO pop in his punches so I don't see him beating Cotto.
