No doubt HBO was in the bag for Arreola. That was TOTALLY OBVIOUS. All I can say is the people at HBO aren't too bright if they made that much of an investment in an undedicated, underachiever, medciocre porspect like Arreola in the first place. :smoke
Yes......5000 people showed up on Saturday to watch Arreola fight on home turf and a chunk of those fans were there for Adamek. Arreola sure packs houses.
I said this **** the whole time. The HBO announcers and Harold Leaderman were ****ing blowing Arreola. Adamek dominated the fight. Arreola is an HBO fighter though.
:yep il disagree with questioning the wisdom of hbo, but they appear to have backed the wrong horse in arreola. he doesnt respect the sport enough to come in shape it seems which is dissapointing. an american heavyweight of some talent surely has to come through soon? just by sheer chance due to population it has to has happen they hoped that would be arreola, they appear to have been wrong but who knows maybe we will see a arreola that while not looking like wlad or haye, still looks like a top level pro
Going to fight I wanted Fatso to win, cause Adamek at overweight division wasn't proved (till last saturday at least), and thought he will crush and burn!!! Plus, I like Fatso (still do!), he always comes to fight, even he looks terrible and fugly, he tries hard!!! Mexican heart and straight up talk is there, but terrible physical condition, not able to put punches together perfectly and time the guy, stamina - is definitely not mexican fighter characteristics at all, he's american/gringo version of it, I guess!!! But, I like the fat slob anyways, can't help it: he's entertaining (even if he loses!!!). Adamek on other hand Totally Arrived!!! He was doing exactly what needed to win, and it wasn't walk in the park or boring at all!!! Got hurt a few times, but kept his composure, and pretty much was beating the poor Fatso who looked even extra terrible!!! And that dude got pretty tough Cheen! (yep, it's different version of chin!) Very impressive fight, so I'm officially jumping to Adamek express!!!
thats because HBO is so busy licking Arreolas balls, that they are missing out on other fighters and fights
