Mormeck is at HW already, I know it would be waste of time in general but as I said ... just in case the title fights are not possible.
Since I doubt Klitschko vs Haye will get made, I think that Haye vs Adamek in New Jersey is most likely. Adamek can bring in both Polish and American TV money, and a pretty serious live gate. As for all this talk that Adamek did better vs Estrada and has a better resume at heavy than Povetkin, you guys are drinking a little too much kool-aid. Povetkin dominated Estrada, despite coming off of an injury, and almost stopped him. He also beat Chambers, who is a better fighter than Chris, and has wins over Byrd and Donald. I actually think Povetkin is a tougher fight for Adamek than Haye. Haye is technically not very good, and his activity level and footwork leave much to be desired. Whereas Povetkin is a very clean technical fighter, who also has fast hands, is mobile, has great stamina, and solid power.
Money wise, the fight in Britain would make the most sense and most money, they can fill out the Wembley instead Nevark center and they may have more TV buys in Europe than in US.
Good post. I think povetkin did better but wouldnt call it a domination. Anyway u re right i think povetkin would be a tougher fight for adamek , Haye just isnt that good i like him and would root for him in every potential fight besides adamek but he is now the most overrated fighter on the planet (thanks for his british supporters) But even then Povetkin lack of defence , small size and not that scary power would allow adamek to fight more offensively in his old style , i think its the best match-up in the heavyweight division atm, would be a war. Versus haye i just dont see it being a war since haye cant take a punch , adamek would be cautios at the beginning to accelarate after 5 rounds when haye starts to tire and take him out with few hard shots. Haye has no defense and no chin , ruiz was connecting most of his telegraphed punches, really i dont see how David can make it against fast oponnent with good power and iron chin.
Well in the US and Europe it wouldn't be on PPV. It would be on HBO in the US, and network television in Europe. I thought that Haye wanted to make a splash in the US, and the best way to do that would be to come here, fight on American TV, and he could still get his PPV buys in the UK.
