    Solid card.

Has Peter ever even made middleweight though? I was a bit puzzled by that matchup, pretty dangerous fight for Dan it must be said.

Jnr vs Nader should be a good scrap...would have been better over 8 or 10 but I aint complaining.

Full credit to all concerned in getting this one up and running - a positive shot in the arm for Oz boxing.

Would have been better seeing it for free on a fox card Thursday night, but i guess there's a few semi profile names and this card wld cost a bit hence PPV.

I'm not sure any general public who like sport will pay for this tho.

This is where the silly football player like a hoppa or Sol generates general public interest and more PPV numbers.

Beave - I appreciate you said "there's some 'semi-profile' names on this card, hence the the PPV" as I ask, "how else could a card of this quality be put together based on being free on a Fox Card Thursday night?"

I think it's a great card to be fair with a grudge match, (Jnr vs Nader), the return of 'The Contender' winner in Wood and followed by some top match-up's also for world-rated talent such as Geale and Dib with their future plans.

Shows aren't cheap and talent like this warrant a PPV in my opinion. Top marks to the Grange for putting it together. :good

Mate i have no doubt it's PPV standard for Aussie boxing, i'm just interested in how many people who follow sport in general without being a fanatical fight fan wld pay for this?

In England for example a similar boxing card wld be on there Friday night fight coverage through SKY at no extra charge.

I guess we just don't have the population over here to generate enough revenue to show free of charge.

    Question to anyone?
What are the likes of Geale, Dib, Junior etc getting paid?

Actually I agree with Contendo here - I'll be buying it... I understand they had some big name match-ups to start with that didn't come together. The replacements are more than good enough IMO and Junior V Nader is a c r a c k e r. Dibb has a good match-up and I am intrigued about Peter making 160! Great night!

I think Josey will atest, not all SKY Friday night fights are top quality in the UK and they pay top dollar for the SKY subscription. Some of the SKY cards are only comperable to our Fox Shows of which Grange put a superb one on earlier this month.

Fair to say I know what Billy Dib is earning, but that's between Grange, him and I and our dealings are exactly that, ours. The likes of what Junior, Geale etc would be earning is not my business, nor would I comment if I knew.

I think if priced right and certainly promoted using 'The Contender' aspects of the show will expose it to a potential mainstream audience, whilst affordably priced to the already existing Australian boxing audience.

Smutt........ I am very interested in Peter Kariuki making 160lb also. I trained him for a little while and I think he is very talented. I know he is a lot better fighter than he showed against Garth.

The standard SKY subscription in the UK is very comparable to FOX over here.

I think it's fair to say that the vast majority of Sky cards leave Fox Sports' for dead.

It's a good card though, and I'll watch it if I'm off and the pub is showing it.

I think we would all agree on that one Flash - how long did you have him for? I would be interested to see when and and against who. I have always believed the corner have to be 100% in Peter's head and with full understanding comes the best version of him.
