Comments regarding Ward & Dirrell Using something Illegal

Well, if you look at the heavy weight division you might get the impression hard work and dedication to training is illegal too. :yep

 

Victor conte has them on his website, along with eddie chambers.

 

yes but he is CLEAN..................

 

1. Amstrong is anything but clean. He ist a proven EPO user (they tested his Tour de France B-samples from some years ago and they were positive

2. Ward working with Conte is not a clever move

3. Direll not testing after the Abraham fight is not a clever move (and don´t try to tell me he was to injured to be tested...)

 

There is a huge double standard in boxing. Ward refused to fight in the tournament unless he got all his fights in his hometown. Ward's referee claims that illegal head butts are legal, as long as they are headbutts from Ward. Dirrell is good actor, looked at his corner then claimed to be knocked out, plus refusing to test after the fight! Void fans over look this crap!

 

Only suspicions. now if he was offered 25 million dollars and the refused to take some test now that would raise some queations.

 

I believe in a level playing field. I am especially angry about Ward's getting "ALL" his fights in his hometown, thus his famous "Billy Goat" head butt from across the ring being legal. He should have been disqualified.

 

lol. Ward and Dirrell must be using something in order to straight up OUTBOX Kessler and Abraham....right. Although working with Conte is a dumbass move it's funny how some of these same people passing judgment have defended pacman and Ariza....hmmm

 

Well there is only one reason to be working with Conte - and that is to get drugs to improve your performans!

If it was just advice regarding training og nuitrision, then there are people much more qualified than Conte. It's a stupid move by Ward to be working with some-one like him.

And why risk your reputation working with a convicted criminal, if you're not getting something no-one else can give you?

When Ward is working with this guys there can be only two reasons:

1. Ward is using doping

2. Ward is stupid

Take your pick

But then again - boxing isn't exactly known for it's harsh punishment for using doping - mostly the penalty is the same as the normal breaks between fights - and when the testing is as poor as it is in boxing - it's hard to blaim a boxer for taking the short road.

Why do you say this? If the guy is responsible for the development of PEDs he must have a very comprehensive understanding of nutrition- there is nothing to say he is unable to apply this understanding within the law.

I agree however that associating yourself with Conte is a very poor PR move.

 

And why make such a bad PR-move if the reward isn't bigger than another adviser could give you? - And there are plenty who knows as much as Conte on nutrition... again either Ward is cheating or he is stupid.

If Andre Ward is stupid enough to associate himself with Conte, then I'm afraid he'll have to live with the fact that some people will always think he's using illegal substances.

Victor Conte is known throughout the world for one thing only - developing and then giving top athletes illegal substances, so they can cheat and beat everybody else.

As Faetter_BR says, there are plenty of world class nutritionists out there, with clean records. Why go to Victor Conte?? The man who ruined the lives and careers of many top athletes??
